Japanese cork is softer than Portuguese cork. Among them, Disk Union adopted "small cork" that is strong in maintaining shape.

Compared to large cork, small cork is less likely to deform due to humidity and climate, and has less bark.

Many air bubbles in the cork reduce vibration and improve the playing environment of the record. (Cork is often used in environments such as concert halls where acoustic effects are required.) It is also known for its excellent discharge action and resistance to static electricity.

This mat is finished with a 2mm thickness that makes it easier to adjust the arm compared to a 5mm thickness.

Not suitable for DJs.

Disk Union uses small cork that does not easily deform due to humidity and climate. Please note that there is no problem with the playback environment.
