Conical Space vinyl

Pye Corner Audio is a producer that at the moment bears more LPs than EPs. On the EP front, 2013 is turning into an industrious year with the multifaceted producer releasing music on the Ghostbox and Boomkat Editions labels. Now for the Hamburg-based Dekorder imprint, Pye Corner Audio presents the Conical Space EP, with the title tack combining a subtle thrum of 909 drums with Vangelis-like science fiction sounds and a night drive motif similar to Palm Highway Chase's Escape From New York LP. The B-side sees PCA remain cosmic, if not space western, with "Dusk Veiled", a track that sees patting drums gallop at a slow motion hover, while floating synths create a soundtrack to paint the mental imagery of a lone ranger, blood red skies and a three-mooned horizon.
