Review: These reissues were made as a tribute to the genre of hip-hop's rough 50th Anniversary at large. Each volume represents an important facet of various artists to feature on incipient hip-hop label Tuff City: each release respectively dedicated to The Solo MC's, The MC Crews, The DJ's and The Female MC's. This time around, we're graciously presented with the Solo MC's on a unique LP and 7" bundle, corralling the likes of Spoonie Gee, Funkmaster Wizard Wiz, Grandmaster Caz, Whipper Whip, and of course, the many and only Ultramagnetic MC's into a singular braggadocious early hip-hop mix.
