Having laid the groundwork with a few digital releases over the past few years, Spanish label TBX get going in earnest with a strong various artists 12" featuring emergent talent and established legends alike. Rich NxT is up first with 'Bluefunk' - a widescreen production with a powerful arrangement which moves between deft broken beat programming and snappy 4/4 with an emphasis on cinematic scene setting. Perky Wires equally embraces funky rhythms and rich synth composition as well as instinctive groove, while Politics Of Dancing steps up with some of that trademark minimal tech house he's so well known for. Djebali rounds off the B-side with 'Matmata', a typically elegant workout from the French mainstay.
