Review: This multi-volume series captures various different parts of one of the many seminal gigs that UK indie sad-sacks The Cure played around the world. In particular, this captures the action from a legendary night in Leipzig, Germany. Much like the first two volumes, the third is a brilliantly well received album that is alive with energy and the rawness of the gig but never at the expense of any of the frets of melodies. From 'In Your House' to original classics like '10:15 Saturday Night' and the enduring favourite 'Boys Don't Cry', this is a great record of a great band in great form.

Review: During the 1980s, The Redskins became a celebrated English band. Next to their highly danceable indie output, they were also known for left-wing politics and a bold skinhead image. This new compilation, as the title suggests, brings together some rarities and hard to find tracks from their heyday. Elements of soul, rockabilly, pop and punk rock all inform their tracks and breath new life into the new wave and post punk forms they work in. Highlights include the strident 'Reds Strike The Blues' and fierce 'Young & Proud.'

Review: This remarkable performance by the great goth princess and her legendary band was part of their Hyna tour. Hyna was the band's sixth studio album and notably the only one to feature guitarist Robert Smith of The Cure. It came a month before this show was recorded live at St. David's Hall, Cardiff, on June 21, 1984. The recording captures the band's famously big and energetic sound and groundbreaking blend of gothic and post-punk elements. It all comes pressed on hot pink vinyl to make it extra special with gems like 'We Hunger' and 'Red Over White' sounding as good as ever.

Review: While Morrissey's outlandish opinions these days might have done plenty to denigrate his own personal legend status amongst fans, what he did with The Smiths will live in musical history forever. A Charming Man In Amsterdam is a concert that was arranged in order to mark the 50th anniversary of a Dutch magazine, Vinyl (imagine that happening today!). It was the iconinc Manchester band's first ever show in the Netherlands and they serve up a set revolving around their eponymous debut album and early singles, with 'Miserable Lie', 'I Don't Owe You Anything' and 'These Things Take Time' sounding particularly grand.
