Review: Jolene Cuts stitches together the past and future of French Touch with a series of deft, filter-drenched cuts that pulse with groove and nostalgia. This vinyl-only release distills the essence of the genre, but rather than simply rehashing the well-worn tropes of disco loops and sweeping filters, Danny and Mike manipulate texture and space, creating something that feels alive in the moment. 'Santa' oozes with hazy warmth, its rolling bassline and clipped vocal chops pulling dancers into a deep, hypnotic sway. 'Clear' strips things back to their rawest elementsithudding kick, shimmering chords, and just enough swing to keep bodies locked in.
