Review: Memories of Earth is D Rothon's second LP for Clay Pipe. Inspired by the 2019 Moving to Mars exhibition at London's Design Museum, a childhood fascination with space, visits to the London Planetarium and being taken as a youngster to see Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey - it is a "paean to Earth's "soft, green bacterial surface"; its "deep, wet, blue mysteries". Musically It draws on a variety of influences including such as progress rock, electronica and European film soundtracks.
