Breakbeat Recommendations September 2009

Review: Some very fun and glitchy electro from German trio Funkanomics, who pack pretty much every trick in the book into "Planet Cross". Sly samples from Bob James and Kriss Kross's "Jump" are thrown into the mix along with oodles of distorted bass and fat thumping beats. The INPUD mix goes even further, mashing it together with House of Pain's "Jump Around" to create something that'll have DJ's in the crowd scratching their heads, and every one else going mental on the floor.
