Jeff Mills is a pioneering American DJ, producer, and electronic music composer, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in techno music. Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1963, Mills began his career in the 1980s, gaining early recognition as a member of the techno collective Underground Resistance. Known for his innovative, futuristic sound, he helped shape the Detroit techno scene and pushed boundaries with his relentless, high-energy performances. Mills has released numerous albums and singles, often blending techno with elements of jazz, classical, and experimental music. His unique style, coupled with his technical skill as a DJ, has earned him a global following and cemented his place as one of the genre's most respected artists.
