After a storming start to the year following the launch of the monstrous UTTU Records DJ Haus drops his debut single under the DJ Haus guise backed with an analogue re-rub from DFA’s Caprarcara. After releasing records under the moniker Hot City throughout 2010, the project surpassed expectations accumulating in shows from New York to Ibiza gaining support as varied as Calvin Harris, Annie Mac to A-Trak & Hot Chip. With super indie label Moshi Moshi on board the project grew to now include BENZ and Old Skool UKG aluminate Markus Dee now on course to conquer the earth. With more time on his hands DJ Haus spent much of 2011 honing his A&R skills releasing the likes of Dubbel Dutch, PALACE, LOL Boys, Nightwave, DJ Stingray on his newly launched UTTU RECS to widespread acclaim. DJ Haus has now re-emerged with a classic slice of UK Hardcore – already receiving support from a selection of Dance music Elite: Mary Anne Hobbs, Hot Chip, Hud Mo, Jackmaster, The 2 Bears, Riton, DJ Q & many more. With a Hot City album in the pipe line for Moshi Moshi + an EP in the pipeline with The 2 Bear’s Raf Daddy & not forgetting a full release schedule for UTTU Recs - DJ Mag hit the nail on the head recently proclaiming DJ Haus as “the hardest working man in show business”
