Review: Modeight's ever growing roster welcomes Loopdeville for this classy new Incase EP which mixes up fractured vocals, buoyant breakbeats and ghostly tech house with plenty of acid. 'Incase' opens top with alien vocal sounds and bouncing kicks next to a soulful vocal plea to make for something full of beguiling contrasts. 'Cleansing' is a smooth and deep one with muted neon chords and a coating of vinyl crackle that is warm and alluring. 'The Bounce' is just that, a nice loose mix of rubbery bass and whirring synth tones with lively drum funk making you shake your limbs.

Review: With only one other release to their name, Loopdeville are back with more ruminations on stripped down and spooky tech house with a hint of breakbeat appreciation running in its veins. "Zafro" lays the uneasy textures on thick while the beat rolls in a perfect cyclical funk that cuts through the horror film tones, although it in no way prepares you for the low slung jazz shuffle of "Strangers". With rumbling bass and scattered flecks of beat, it's a bold creation that still manages to pull everything together into a focused groove. Suciu comes on board for a remix of the title track that breaks the cloud of tense murk and instead lets some sunnier melodies fire chance beams of light into the proceedings.

Review: Last year Moscow Records set up sub-label Moss Co and each release so far has introduced a new set of artists. For this third release it's Nu Zau, aka ?tefan Gabriel Zamfir and Loopdeville, aka D Zlatinov. Nu Zau debuted on Fear Of Flying in 2012 and his 2013 was prolific with seven releases added to his name. He provides an 11-minute drum track, "Cumse Cuvine", that's filled with kooky and super minimal, squeaks, tweets and vocal samples; a fine production. Loopdeville's kick drum on "Piance" in comparison to Zau's A-side is standout, and here he provides a cold and moody track designed for those deeper moments of the night. It's the London-based producer third release after debuting in 2013 with two 12"s, one of which, Phantasmagoria, inaugurated new label Delooped.

Review: 'Celestial Dance' is Tommy Vicari Jnr and Loopdeville's latest, collaborative contribution to new label Foxtail. 'Go Again' and 'What Kind Of Love Is This' draw on the slung-down timbral strength of amapiano's log basses for reuse in crowd-busting house groovemanship: we hear giggly knock hits stiffening otherwise angelic house ambiences, making for staunch low-end scaffolds. Loopdeville's B-side is the real hoot, meanwhile, as crowd murmurs and restless rhythmic petri cultures heard to come to life across 'Los Pollos', before the r&b inflect 'Do You', which samples what sounds like Miguel, closes on a potent tearjerker.
