String synthesiser unit with fully polyphonic string sections and monophonic solo sections
Notes: Streichfett combines the best of the now extinct species of String Synthesizers of the 70s and early 80s. Its dual sound engine features a fully polyphonic strings section and a monophonic solo section, which is essential for recreating how adult movies sounded thirty years ago. The Ensemble Effect handles lubrication of the String Section, while the Effects section adds adjustable Phaser or Reverb. Alternatively, the Effect section can be used to animate the strings registration, allowing spectacular sound morphs.
The Solo Section offset presets named Bass, E-Piano or Clavi, and just like in your typical string machine, the sound has little to do with that name. Instead, these are shimmering and slightly percussive sounds that blend well with the string section.
Although the User Interface is simple and easy to comprehend, it controls a rather complex sound engine which is capable to delivers rich and creamy pads unlike any other instrument.
Twelve patches can be stored and selected in the Memory section, USB and MIDI are of course on board.
Synthesiser + Waldorf Edition software, including D Pole Filter Module, PPG Wave 2.V & Attack
Notes: *** Synthesizer comes with a free copy of The Waldorf Edition software, including D Pole Filter Module, PPG Wave 2.V & Attack ***
Waldorf are back in the game. With the Blofeld. this synthesizer offers all the unique qualities that made Waldorf a truly legendary brand.
The engine inside the heavy duty, full metal chassis of the Blofeld delivers the same fat and rich sound that so many Waldorf users worldwide love when they play their Pulse, Q, Q+, Micro Q, Microwave, Microwave II/XT, or even the flagship Wave.
Yes, you've heard it right. The Blofeld is not only capable of producing these warm, organic analog sounds known from the Q synthesizer line, it also sports a wavetable engine like its predecessors with Wave in their names.
This unique synthesis system is based upon the revolutionary PPG Wave synthesizers of the early 80s. So when you listen to the Blofeld for the first time, you will instantly recognize those edgy, hard-hitting and bell-like timbres that have been an integral part of so many world hits from the PPG era on, and become increasingly popular once more.
In fact it is amazing to realize that nowadays this complex technology fits into such a slim and elegant device. And for a price no-one would have imagined a couple of years ago.
3 voice polyphonic analog sound engine and loop sequencer
Notes: The Korg Volca Keys is an ideal introductory synthesizer, with a simple, yet powerful polyphonic analog sound engine and loop sequencer.
The Volca Keys is a long awaited synthesizer that adds a new chapter to the long and storied history of Korg's analog synthesizers. This 27 key analog lead synth delivers unbelievably powerful sound in a compact body. Starting with a filter section that uses the circuitry of the legendary miniKORG700S (1974), it delivers astonishing sound that takes full advantage of Korg's half-century of know-how in circuit design.
With a simple structure that includes delay effect and a sequencer, it's also an ideal choice for a first analog synth. It offers the richly expressive sounds that are distinctive of analog, providing the enjoyment of simple yet deep sound-creation. The possibilities are endless; you can use the three oscillators to play chords, use them in unison with detune to produce solid lead lines, or apply ring modulation to create far-out metallic sounds.
The Voicing function makes it easy to specify how the three oscillators will be combined. Choose between poly, unison, octave, fifth, unison ring or poly ring simply by turning a dial. Easy for those taking thier first steps into synthesisers, the Volca's simple design makes it easy to obtain a wide variety of sounds.
Record phrases as you play them with the Volca Keys using the loop sequencer. With up to 16 steps, it's easy to create phrases as they come to mind. Use the overdub recording function to produce complex loops, with up to 8 sequence patterns able to be stored in internal memory. Craft your loops with the motion seqence function, apply time varying changes to your sound to enhance loops and add originality to your life performances.
Skip a step during sequence playback with active step, a function that creates effects similar to a short loop or unexpectedly irregular rhythms. This allows you to create a dynamic performance just as though you were performing the sequence itself. Flux function lets you play back the phrase without quantizing the steps, producing a loop with a distinctive sense of groove.
A useful self-tuning function constantly tunes the oscillators, so you never need to tune during a performance or wait for the pitch to stabilise after turning the power on.
Connect the Volca Keys with the rest of the Volca Series or a Monotribe using the sync jack. A MIDI in connector lets you synchronise with other devices, play the Volca from any MIDI keyboard and send note messages from your DAW.
The Volca Keys analogue loop synth has a compact size and a built-in speaker, easily playable anytime, anywhere. The ideal starter-synth.
Notes: The Subsequent 37 is a (2-note) paraphonic analogue synthesizer that builds upon the award-winning design of the ultra-powerful Sub 37 Tribute Edition. Its control panel is home to 40 knobs and 74 switches, placing a vast array of analogue sound-design tools and onboard sequencing options immediately at your command. The Subsequent 37 improves upon its source through the implementation of a number of user-requested sonic and functional enhancements. Each enhancement maintains the magic and character of its predecessor while also providing access to new dimensions of sound and improved playability.
The SUBSEQUENT 37 mixer section has double the headroom of that in the Sub 37 Tribute Edition. This provides access to a new range of classic clean tones in both mono and duo performance modes. Leveraging the mixer's newfound flexibility, gain-staging in the Ladder filter has been reshaped to boost harmonic saturation and analogue compression, resulting in an overall richer low end. Completing the sonic evolution of the SUBSEQUENT 37 is a re-tuned Multidrive circuit that extends well beyond the grit and growl of the original Sub 37.
"We are really excited to incorporate community feedback into the evolution of an instrument. Adding CV interconnectivity was the starting point, but we have also increased the headroom in the mixer and significantly extended the range of Multidrive, giving the Subsequent 37 CV expanded sonic capability and modular control." - Cyril Lance, Moog Chief Engineer
In addition to the sound engine augmentation, each SUBSEQUENT 37 comes with an upgraded keybed for improved playability, a high-powered headphone amplifier strong enough to drive the most demanding headphones, and a software plugin/editor for both Windows and Mac platforms.

Fully assembled field kit for experimenting with electro acoustic sound
Notes: Brilliant experimental box inspired by electroacoustic musicians including John Cage. Signal processing, mixing, sound generation and the ability to send voltages to physical devices like motors and buzzers. Super creative.
Supplier's notes:
The new KOMA Elektronik Field Kit is the perfect tool for everyone who would like to experiment with electro acoustic sound. Use everyday objects, amplify them and use them to make sound, like our heroes John Cage and David Tudor used to do!
The Field Kit is optimized to process signals from microphones, contact microphones, electromagnetic pickups and able to run DC motors and solenoids. On top of that it can receive radio signals and convert signals from switches and sensors into control voltage!
Let's get more detailed...
The Field Kit boasts 7 separate functional blocks all focussed on receiving or generating all types of signals. They are designed to operate together as a coherent electroacoustic workstation or alternatively together with other pieces of music electronics with the ability to use control voltage signals.
The Four Channel Mixer is the beating heart of the Field Kit, providing a fully functional mixer with individual Gain, Mix Level and Tone control over each channel and individual Master- and Aux sub-mixes.
The level of the Master and Aux Channels can be set with the Master Volume and Aux Volume controls and the channels being sent to the Aux sub-mix can be set with dedicated Aux Select-buttons. The Aux sub-mix is pre-fader.
The CV Radio is a CV-controllable radio receiver capable of receiving radio frequencies on AM/FM and SW bands. Additionally it provides the ability to catch electromagnetic waves for further processing inside the Field Kit. The frequency of the radio can be set with a dedicated multifunctional Search-control which acts both as a manual CV-source and as an input attenuator for a CV-signal.
The Envelope Follower in the Field Kit applies two functions to the waveform you send to the input: full-wave rectification (mirroring of negative portions of the waveform) and low-pass filtering (averaging). It can also be used for frequency doubling of a signal, which is a great tool to have in the electroacoustic domain.
The Low Frequency Oscillator generates periodically varying voltages to be used as control signals. The output waveform can be set with a three-position Waveform-control and gives out either a Square-, Triangle- or a mix of Square and Triangle waveforms.
A very cool function of the Field Kit is the DC Interface. You can use its output voltages to run little motors, fans, solenoids, buzzers and control them with control voltage signals. You can pick up the vibrations and electromagnetic waves with the contact microphones and electromagnetic pickup.
The Signal Interface is a nifty toolset to transform the raw signals of a wide variety of sensors and switches into signals that can be used with the Field Kit or other gear. This means you can trigger or control sound by light, heat, humidity, distance, speed, acceleration, proximity, pressure, force, level, all depending on what type of switch or sensor you are using! Ideal for sound installations!

The Iridium Keyboard is a 49-key FATAR TP/8SK semi-weighted polyphonic aftertouch pressure-providing keyboard synthesiser.
Notes: A true powerhouse of a synth, packaging the Quantum synth engine into a more manageable four-octave design. Five synthesis modes, powerful stereo filters, performance features and outstanding playability.
Supplier's Notes:
Waldorf Iridium has made the impossible possible. The mighty synth engine from Quantum is now available in a compact form. Tracing the footsteps of its bigger brother, Iridium features all the synthesis elements of Quantum as well in a rack-compatible format. The combination of the powerful engine, incredible flexibility and detailed sound shaping facilities creates sheer endless possibilities of sound. Yet, the comprehensive layout and easy-to-understand structure lets you design your own sounds in no time. Sporting a solid metal casing and the same high level of craftsmanship like Quantum, Iridium is now ready to take over studios and stages throughout the world.
Contributing another entry in Waldorf's rich history, Iridium joins the family as a direct descendant of the PPG Wave. Though, Iridium offers much more than its ancestor. Five different synthesis models are provided by Iridium for each of the three oscillators:
Kernel mode has been introduced with the OS 2.0 of Quantum. This huge upgrade allows one oscillator to be turned into up to six sub oscillators. These can be interlinked through FM at audio rate and arranged in user-definable constellations. Just this upgrade alone would have provided enough additional features to create a synthesizer on its own. Now, all those functions have been integrated into Iridium as well.
Up to 7000 patches can be saved in Iridium. Patches from Quantum can be loaded in Iridium and vice-versa.
Iridium features three digital filters per voice. Two in the Dual Filter section and another one in the Digital Former. Several types are available to choose from:
12 or 24dB and Lowpass/Highpass/Bandpass with optional saturation or dirtiness.
Various filter models are available including those from Waldorf Nave, Largo and PPG 3V.
The Dual Filter section can be controlled independently or together in several different link modes.
The Digital Former offers all the filter types and models from the Dual Filter plus unusual models like Comb, Drive, Bitcrusher and more in addition.
All filters retain a true stereo signal throughout the entire structure of the instrument.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q:How do I copy/paste a pattern?
A:Hold SLIDE and press OCT- to copy and OCT+ to paste.
Q:The briefly LEDS go out when I stop the sequencer - is something wrong?
A:This is normal and occurs when the memory is updated (a few seconds after the sequencer is stopped when a change has been made).
Notes: The Skorn da Bask table top module is the same module as the eurorack version but in a hammond 1590BB enclosure and aluminium panel, it can be powered thru a 2,1mm negative pin power jack, compatible with Boss and Ibanez standard power supplies.
Thanks to their routing options, the VCOs can not only be used to generate audio signals, but for modulating the VCF's cutoff frequency as well. Besides processing internally produced saw tooth waves, the filter is also usable for editing sound coming from other modules. Typical Touell Skouarn, the Skorn da Bask distorts like hell. Primary application: The creation of dirty, experimental sound structures and abstract rhythms.
The front panel of Skorn da Bask shows three areas highlighted in red. These zones contain the connectors and control elements for the oscillators. Each VCO comes equipped with a pitch CV input, a tune potentiometer and two switches for defining the routing as well as the frequency range used. In detail, the oscillators can be connected to the audio or CV input of the filter. Thanks to their range switches, each VCO is able to work with audio or low frequency rates. The pitch input does not follow the standard 1v per octave.
After all, Skorn da Bask is not an ordinary oscillator module, but an experimental sound generator.
The low pass filter features a slope of 24 dB per octave. A potentiometer named FreqaNs regulates the circuit's cutoff parameter, Dasson sets the resonance. For processing external signals, there is an audio input. As long as a cable is plugged into this socket, the VCOs are disconnected from the filter's audio path. Third-company modules, like an envelope or LFO, can influence the VCF's frequency via a CV input. For damping modulation signals coming from the oscillators, there is an attenuator knob. The audio output is equipped with a level potentiometer. High settings lead to juicy overdrive effects.

A complex polyphonic, microtonal synthesiser with a broad and flexible sound palette.
Notes: TERRA is a new SOMA Labs synth.
TERRA is a highly conceptual device. The core idea is unity of nature and technology, and a perfect balance between simplicity and versatility. Behind the extremely simple interface hides a complex polyphonic, microtonal synthesizer with a broad and flexible sound palette that ranges from classical beautiful tones to complex atonal noise, and offers smooth and fast transitions between these extremes.
The innovative keyboard design invites new playing techniques and covers the full range of a grand piano with the possibility to tune each note with an accuracy of 125 steps per semitone. To achieve this range with such a simple keyboard we designed a unique system of pitch shifting using four additional sensors. Pressing different combinations of them will result in 16 variations of keyboard transposing, including up to 3 octaves up and down, fifth, fourth, third, tone etc.
Not only do you get the full range of a grand piano in a very compact design, TERRA also offers an entirely new and different approach to playing melodies and chords.
The keyboard consists of 12-note sensors with velocity and pressure sensitivity allowing for the manual creation of slow attack and vibrato, 4 dynamic sensors for timbre modification and control, 4 pitch-shifting sensors and 2 hold sensors for holding the state of the timbre and note sensors.
Inside TERRA there is a three-axis motion sensor for creating a variety of different modulations by simple intuitive movements of your hands and body.
TERRA is digital and contains 32 complex synthesis algorithms. Each algorithm has been carefully designed to be a complete and flexible musical instrument on its own, ready for learning and playing in its own unique way. The goal is to free the musician from long exhausting programming, setting hundreds of parameters for creating one timbre, and instead putting the focus directly on music and performance and following your imagination and inspiration.
TERRA offers the best of both worlds: the direct intuitive tactile connection from acoustic instruments and the flexibility and versatility of synthesizers. TERRA inherits design principles from LYRA-8 and also contains application of the new principles that were announced for ReFLEX, exploring the future of synthesis.
TERRA has an extremely simple interface that gives you instant access to all its functions in several touches, including saving and loading the 96 presets that are stored directly on the playing sensors. TERRA has no display. Instead it shows and lets you dial all necessary data on the 6 LED-sensor triangle in the centre.
TERRA has a built-in FX processor so the stereo output is ready to use, making it a perfect stand-alone performance instrument. While the sound generation is digital, TERRA has a unique custom-built and top quality analogue part that makes it sound rich, natural, clear and powerful at the same time.
The housing of TERRA comes from a solid piece of wood, making each instrument unique and slightly different. In the photo above and in the announcement demo video you can see the prototype of the synth. The final design is in development and we intend to make several different versions.
TERRA is a sanctuary for a natural soul right in the middle of the rumbling plastic world, a ground where you can breathe in and out slowly, and hold on to your roots.
TERRA is our dream about a bright future where we will be both technologically advanced and more connected to nature, where machines and technology are not a prison for our feelings and spirit but their extension.

There's even a built-in spectrum analyser and oscilloscope that gives you visual feedback via the screen on the music you're making.
Six in One Synthesis
The core of opsix is nothing short of exponential. Since waveforms can be arranged and modulated in nearly infinite ways, opsix can easily do the sonic work that is similar to numerous types of synthesis:
Subtractive
Removing parts of the sound to get the sound you want; the most widely-used synthesis. opsix uses up to six envelopes and multi-modeled filters to achieve many cutting-edge and classical analog synthesis tones.
Semi-Modular
Rerouting signal paths to change the sound. A spin through the Alogorithm section will dramatically reshape the sound by changing how the signal routing between the operators work together, and no patch cables are needed.
Analog (Modelling)
Analog-style controls and plenty of stackable waveforms take you from digital to analogue-sounding in no time. Enjoy deep basses, crisp leads, thick pad sounds, fuzzy brass tones, and so much more.
Waveshaping
Adding intentional distortion to the waveforms to achieve aggressive overtones that are either harmonic or inharmonic. This will help you achieve gritty, bitey tones dripping with character.
Additive
Stacking waveforms and blending their harmonics is key to an expansive range of harmonious, dissonant, and tension-driven sounds. With six operators available, the complete FM experience is possible, including the ability to go back in time for classic sounds you have heard throughout recording history.
Classic FM
Last but certainly not least, opsix's highly flexible and powerful architecture starts with true six-Operator FM. As a result, it easily delivers signature sounds you have surely heard on thousands of hits from the '80s on through today, and with far more polyphony than other standalone FM synths available today.
With all of these ways to realize and explore sounds, opsix SE is uniquely suited as a "future-modern-classic" synth!
Altered Reality
opsix SE is FM-based, but the similarities to the classic synthesis end there. The Altered FM architecture delivers sounds across a vast spectrum, far wider than any single synthesis has been able to cover before, thanks to new sound components; new waveforms, filters, shaping, effects, LFOs, envelopes, modulations, and more, all translating to its broad assortment of sounds.
Powerful Effects Processing
opsix SE provides three blocks of 30 types of high-definition effects that you can use together to enhance your sounds even further. There's everything from a great mix of usable standard effects like chorus, phaser, delay, and compressor to some world-class shimmering reverbs that will elevate your sound to the next level.
Automatable 16-step sequencer
opsix SE features an incredible step sequencer that rivals groove boxes for flexibility and power. Press the PLAY button on any sound and experience the complexity of the sequences! Every Program has its unique sequence stored with it, or create your very own.
You can record up to six notes per step and edit each note's velocity, gate time, and playback timing. Create long phrases or make subtle shifts in timing to emulate strums or drum rolls, something that's not possible on a typical 16-step sequencer. The motion sequencer of the opsix SE also lets you record changes of up to six parameters, creating smooth motion changes in sound within a phrase or building rhythms that change dramatically with each step.

Notes: Celebrating the 50th anniversary of this truly iconic synth, the 'modern' take on the classic Buchla Music Easel doesn't mess with a winning formula, paring the 208C sound source with 218e touch-sensitive keyboard.
Supplier's Notes:
The Buchla Music Easel was one of the first truly portable electronic music instruments. Fifty years ago, in 1973, only a few dozen were made. Unlike many iconic technologies, the influence was not grown through force of scale, but rather the force of the ideas. The Music Easel made available virtually every musical dimension: timbre, melody, rhythm, and time; how these dimensions intersected was no longer the court of acoustics and material, but signals and voltage. The 208 Stored Program Sound Source engendered "a new functional organization [with a] particularly rapid system of patching and program storage via plug-in cards."
Taking cues from the then-recent discipline of cybernetics, the 218 touch plate was for "real-time communication" to help realize the "potential vocabulary" of the Easel, rather than exploiting existing modes of musical virtuosity. The Stored Program Cards ensured rapid repeatability and repertoire on its own terms. The battery terminals made sure the music was as portable as any acoustic instrument. And the name let you know it was designed for art rather than science.
Buchla is ecstatic to revive the Music Easel for its third run in 50 years. Buchla first released the updated 208 Stored Program Sound Source, dubbed the Easel Command, with expanded MIDI and USB capability. Next came the update of the Easel Program Manager - a complete kit for storing and recalling sounds sources, even more rapidly than imagined in 1973. The new 218 Touch Activated Voltage Source provides the optimal input facility, as originally envisioned. It is now all together in a rugged case and the advanced EMBIO module that unifies all the audio and control inputs and outputs for integration with the rest of your musical world.
More than a retro novelty, the Music Easel still speaks to a future we strive for. A technology that invites conversation, not chats, and controls that engage expression, not work. There are many new worlds to explore in this instrument created at the crossroads of the jazz and computer ages. Designed as "an integrated assemblage of functions", rather than a collection of modules, the Music Easel's colour coding, comfortable access to controls, and solid patch connections allow for satisfying sessions of sonic discovery.
The Music Easel is available for pre-order starting June 16 at Buchla.com and your favourite Buchla Dealer. Delivery of the Music Easel (modern) is expected fall 2023.
Stored Program Sound Source Model 208C
The sound source of the Music Easel is the 208C, which includes a complex oscillator and a modulation oscillator (which can also serve as another voice), each with independent switchable waveforms, as well as a noise generator, allowing for rich and intricate sound design. The 208C also features a five-stage sequencer, envelope generator, pulser and modulation source - with switchable triggers - allowing for complex patterns and evolving textures. The dual low pass gate provides dynamic control over the tone and amplitude of the sound, as well as natural-sounding decay and sustain. The 208C has a number of modulation sources, including a random voltage generator, the envelope generator, modulation oscillator, and an envelope detector. These sources can be used to modulate various parameters via the extensive patchfield - creating movement, texture, and complexity. The 208C also includes a mixer section with spring reverb.
Touch Activated Voltage Source Model 218e (v3)
The first design appeared in the 1973 release of the Buchla Music Easel and named for the spacecraft that delivered astronauts to the moon. Providing the familiar piano key layout for this early mobile music machine, the additional controls and capabilities were an interface for exploring uncharted musical territory. With the new version 3, it's been elevated with a new foundation of stable, modern electronics with incredible sensitivity and accuracy - the lightest touch will produce triggers and control voltages. The adjustable sensor has the dynamic range and durability to handle your playing. The new texture not only improves the sensing, but provides a satisfying tactile experience. As always, pressure is an expressive output, adding an extra dimension to the control. MIDI outputs velocity and polyphony, as well as channel pressure, making the 218e a uniquely expressive controller. The 218e includes portamento and an arpeggiator, which can be driven by external inputs and are allowed to interact with the automated notes to make patterns more complex. Additional controls allow you to blend different patterns and randomness to easily change from the expected to the surprising. The classic preset voltage knobs offer several possible ways to shift your sounds into new territory. Not only can the knobs be used for quick access to voltages for your patch, they can control arpeggiation modes and octave shifting. Pads output pulses for additional control. The 218e also gives you a unique interface to playing your existing MIDI gear and soft synths. Each touch outputs note name, channel pressure, and velocity for every note, along with sustain controls from a pedal. Polyphonic MIDI mode lets you play chords. The touchstrip can act as a pitch bend control, or as a mod wheel for additional expressive control. Easily configured using the front panel controls, you can send notes and controls on any MIDI channel.
Electric Music Box Input/Output (EMBIO)
Maintaining the spirit, sound, and process from the original, the new Music Easel adds a variety of new features. Buchla's latest renditions of the Stored Program Sound Source and Touch Activated Voltage Source are tied together with the Electric Music Box Input/Output (EMBIO) module. This of course provides MIDI out (mini jack and USB) and CV out from the 218, MIDI in to the 208, and the audio out from the 208C. Additional creative control comes from the Audio Mixer, for integration with other Buchla modules and systems, and the CV conditioners and controls. The slew control can turn your sequencer into a wavy modulator, or soften up a square LFO. The attenuator and crossfader gives you the opportunity to find new levels and combinations of voltages from existing ones. The pulse converter offers new rhythms to trigger. And a simple LFO provides another valuable modulator when you just can't quite let yourself flip that Mod Osc switch from "high" to "low."

A sonic evolution
Wavestate SE is the powerful evolution of Korg's legendary Wavestation, taking Wave Sequencing to a new level. Designed in California and built in Japan, Wavestate SE includes a premium 61-note keyboard with aftertouch, in an all-metal chassis. Built for a new era of musicians, composers, and producers, Wavestate SE features hundreds of dynamic sounds, extensive hands-on control and 120 notes (stereo) of polyphony to inspire new levels of creativity.
Premium, expressive touch
Featuring a 61-key natural-touch keyboard, Wavestate SE feels incredible to play. The inclusion of aftertouch gives fingertip control of the unique constantly changing sound. All factory presets have been meticulously programmed to take full advantage of this expressive control.
Beauty meets brawn
Wavestate SE's all-metal design is as hard-wearing as it is beautiful - with a matte-black aluminium panel complimented perfectly by glossblack stainless-steel sides. The premium finish continues to the controls themselves, where metal-plated knobs are perfectly weighted and add a luxurious touch.
Easily expressive. Exceptionally deep.
The Wavestate SE puts filters, envelopes, LFOs, effects and more at your fingertips with dedicated front-panel controls. Eight programmable Mod knobs are customised to bring out the most in every sound, for real-time performance and also when saving results as new patches. Pitch bend and modulation wheels, and the unique Vector Joystick, give you instant access to multiple dimensions of real-time expression. Digging deeper, almost all front-panel knobs, and most on-screen parameters, can be modulated. You can even modulate settings for individual Wave Sequence steps! Mod Processors let you transform modulation signals using quantization, smoothing, curvature, and more.
Gigabytes of samples
Totalling in the gigabytes, Wavestate SE's sample library is vast. At a thousand times larger than that of the original Wavestation, the amount of great-sounding raw material for Wave Sequences is astounding.
Three of the key sound designers from the original Wavestation, John Bowen, John "Skippy" Lehmkuhl (Plugin Guru), and Peter "Ski" Schwartz, joined Belgian artist Airwave and the renowned Korg voicing team to create the incredible Wavestate SE sound library.
Powerful effects
An arsenal of superb effects ensures Wavestate SE delivers production-ready sounds. Each performance has a master reverb and parametric EQ while each layer has three dedicated effects. Alongside compressors, EQs, choruses, flangers, phasers, and stereo delays, you'll find distinctive processors such as the Wave Shaper, Talking Modulator, Reverse Delay, Multiband Mod Delay, and Overb, plus modelled effects including Vox guitar amps and wah pedal, multi-head tape echo, and a collection of other classic guitar pedals.
Multiply by four
Take all that power, and quadruple it! You can layer up to four Programs together in a Performance-each with their own effects and arpeggiator. The Vector Envelope and Joystick mix the individual voices of the four layers, and can also modulate any other parameters. This sheer sonic power is further enhanced with 120 notes (stereo) of polyphony. Set Lists offer effortless organisation of your Performances, and deliver instant access at the gig or in rehearsal. And thanks to Smooth Sound Transitions, previously-played voices and effects continue to ring out naturally, even when a new sound has been selected.
Deep connectivity
Connect to recording or monitoring systems with balanced stereo outputs, and a stereo headphone output is provided for private playing or onstage cueing. Din-style MIDI jacks ensure connection to other MIDI-equipped instruments and audio gear. The Wavestate SE supports class-compliant USB MIDI connections to Windows and Mac computers, and the Wavestate SE Editor/Librarian and Sample Builder programs are available as free downloads from Korg.
Wave Sequencing 2.0
The original Wavestation gave each step of a wave sequence a duration, a sample and a pitch. This created ear-catching repetitive patterns, giving rise to entirely new approaches to sound design. But what if the sounds could evolve in organic and unexpected ways, instead of just repeating? Wave Sequencing 2.0 separates the timing, the sequence of samples, and the melody, so that each can be manipulated independently. It also adds new characteristics, including shapes, gate times, and step sequencer values. Each of these is a "Lane", and each Lane can have a different number of steps, start, end and loop points. Every time the sequence moves forward, the individual Lanes combine to create the output. For instance, a sample may be matched with a different duration, pitch, shape, gate length, and step sequence value every time that it plays. You can modulate each Lane's start, end, and loop points separately for every note, using velocity, LFOs, envelopes, Mod Knobs, or other controllers. Each note in a chord can be playing something different! Lanes can also randomise the step order every time they play, with real-time control over the range of included steps, and individual steps can be randomly skipped (with a modulatable probability from 0 to 100%). The result is organic, ever-changing sounds that respond to your control. The four onboard arpeggiators can interact with Wave Sequences for even more possibilities.

Notes: Brilliantly unusual synth based on eight analogue tone generators, functioning more like an electric organ or FM synth than a conventional subtractive architecture. Unique sound.
Supplier notes:
Welcome to the world of sound of LYRA-8, the unique organismic analogue synthesizer designed by Vlad Kreimer. "Organismic" means that LYRA uses some principles that lie in the base of living organisms. The way how LYRA's modules interacting between each other and the behaviour of the instrument resembles a live conversation.
LYRA-8 is based on eight generators, which will be referred to as voices. Their design is not like a traditional subtractive synthesis VCO. Instead of having a linear or logarithmic dependency on control voltage, they resemble the tone generators in old electric organs. Hence the use of the term "voices" instead of VCOs. Lyra uses non-linearity a lot, and the voices are constructed in such a way that allows for non-linearity to express itself.
The voices are divided into four pairs (12, 34, 56, 78). All the pairs are divided in two groups, with two pairs in each (1234, 5678), creating tree-like structure.
The voices can function either in an electric organ mode or in an FM synthesis mode with each of the voices and its envelope acting as a separate FM operator. The voice's impact on FM synthesis will decrease along with the decay of its envelope.
LYRA-8 also has the next blocks:
The HYPER LFO is a complex low-frequency generator, whose waveform is synthesized from two simple LFOs by summation or multiplication of their frequencies. It also has a sync mode. The LFO can modulate the selected pairs of voices and the MOD DELAY.
The MOD DELAY consists of two lines of delay with cross-feedback and a special architecture that enables resonance between the two lines. Each line's delay time can be individually modulated from various sources, including external ones. The delay has a unique possibility of self-modulation where the output signal modulates the delay sample rate, creating cool effects.
The DISTORTION is last in the chain, after the delay. It enables the delay to also influence the distortion.
For all its experimental character, LYRA is a professional instrument. Its output dynamics and frequency response are balanced and ready for a live performance or studio recording without any additional processing.

Notes: Originally released in 1970, Minimoog Model D was the world's first portable synthesizer and served as the archetype for all electronic keyboards that followed. The all-analog instrument gained acclaim for combining the colossal sound of the 1960s Moog modular synthesizers with the accessibility of pre-wired modulesimeaning that it could be played instantly and intuitively with no patch cables required. It was quickly embraced by a diverse roster of performers, with artists like Herbie Hancock, Kraftwerk, Rick Wakeman, Sun Ra, Piero Umiliani, Giorgio Moroder, Bernie Worrell, and Gary Numan all shaping unique sounds and forging new musical genres using the instrument.
More than a half-century since its invention, Minimoog Model D is back in production at the Moog factory in Asheville, North Carolina. An exceptional sonic tool and one of the most beloved and iconic synthesizers ever designed, it returns to the hands of synthesists of all kinds and serves as inspiration for the next generation of electronic musicians.
The three-oscillator, monophonic, analog synthesizer is securely housed in a locally sourced Appalachian cherry cabinet and hand-finished aluminum chassis. Sounding as vibrant and deep as ever, its legendary low-pass ladder filter, powerful oscillators, and rich saturating mixer retain the exact component placement and through-hole design of a 1970s-era Minimoog Model D.
While no changes have been made to the original sound engine or audio signal path, the 2022 Minimoog Model D includes a series of popular functional modifications that expand this legendary instrument's sonic capabilities. These modifications include a dedicated analog LFO with triangle and square waveshapes, a premium Fatar keybed with velocity and after pressure available via top panel CV jacks with onboard trimpots, MIDI integration, and a mixer feedback modification which allows the Minimoog Model D to overdrive and scream with the turn of a knob. And, for the first time in its history, the Minimoog Model D now features a spring-loaded pitch wheel with center deadband, allowing for improved playability and wild performance flourishes. This newest edition also includes updates to the MIDI functionality, allowing for improved modern studio integration.

Analogue drone/noise synthesiser with four oscillators
Notes: The UNVO-1b powered by a centre negative DC 9V adapter or a single 9V battery.
It also contains two VCOs (oscillators) with a wide range.
The frequency and waveform of the SUB oscillator are changed, and they are input to the main, respectively. Each of them has a range switch, so it works like an LFO under the switch. The colour of the range switch (white, black) corresponds to the colour of the SUB.1 and SUB.2 on-off switches next to the FREQ knob of the main oscillator.
When the WAVE switch is turned on, the WAVE knob is activated, and the SUB OSCILLATOR.1 and 2 are shaken.
The main VCO×2 is mixed and fed into the strain + filter circuit. This special filter has a FREQ knob and a TUNE knob. The TUNE knob powerfully amplifies the input signal while also tracking specific pronunciations.
The filter is a circuit that has been fine-tuned so that it can very effectively enhance the bass and treble of this input signal.
Unlike other switches, the noise-on switch moves sideways, left (VCO.1), middle (OFF), and right (VCO.2). They are populated in VCO.1 and 2, respectively.
The UNVO-1b is a noise machine that can output a very strong signal that generates a variety of noise sounds.
The black painted aluminium die-cast case is painted with a black matte paint with a laser and scraped to make letters.
This analogue synth runs on DC9V negative centre or a 9V battery.
The main 2 VCOs can receive 2 oscillators and noise generator inside and go to 2 different filters.
2 oscillators can be tuned with each two FREQ. knobs and controlled with the wave knob.
RED switch is for wave knob working.

Blendwave Modulation Synthesis combines 6 unique structures with 32 WAVEs featuring complex harmonic transitions, making it easy to create powerful low drones, lush pads, and transparent pizzicatos, perfect for Ambient Music.
4 knobs/8 parameters offer a wide range of tone creation.
A WAVE contains 128 harmonic tables, allowing for diverse tonal changes such as moving from basic waveforms to complex harmonics. The WAVE is represented by a yin-yang icon, with the yin representing moves in the reverse direction through the tables during modulation.
6 Structures - Each structure has a different number of oscillators and modulation circuits. ATMOS 1 applies ring modulation, while ATMOS 2 applies FM modulation.
Noise and Space
The Noise layer includes 8 specially selected nature sounds, offering noise blending, pitch adjustment and modulation to infuse unique spatial characteristics.
Additionally, it allows for up to 8 seconds of stereo sampling from the line input, letting you create personalized textures.

Analogue synthesiser capable of a wide range of sounds
Notes: The NDE-1 is JMT Synth's flagship synthesiser, capable of a wide range of sounds. Consisting of two VCOs, a sample & hold function, a noise generator, a low-pass filter, a LFO, VCA, and an envelope generator. This combination can create a powerful and variable sound. The 4-pole filter works very smoothly, and an external audio input. It can be paired with a sequencer for live performance and a wider range of sounds.
8-voice 4-operator frequency modulator analogue synthesiser
Notes: A year ago, Jomox brought out the Mod FM as a eurorack module.
Now, Jomox present almost the same synth, but as a desktop unit, with its own PSU, Midi, standard 1/4" balanced outputs and analogue volume control.
The Mod FM D has an analogue side chain stereo input that gets routed into the Mod FM D effects, and can be mixed to the synth.
The ratio of synth + input/effects can be controlled via an analogue dry/wet potentiometer.
The Mod FM D is a completely self-contained 8 voice FM synth in desktop format, which can create powerful sounds out of the box without lacking the commonly provided CV modulation possibilities.
It provides 4 Operators and 2 LFOs/VCOs per voice. Additionally, it has 2 analogue filters and analogue VCAs per voice which apply analogue warmth and depth to the Mod FM D, although the FM engine is digital of course.
Each voice has its own CV/Gate inputs and an individual output. There is a mix output which separates even and odd voices. Here you can mix internal effects like delay and reverb to the stereo output signal.
Next to the CV/Gate control, the Mod FM D has Midi in and out and a USB C connector which handles Midi too.
Even without diving too much into complicated setups you can create extremely good sounding and metallic FM sounds, snappy bases but also soft and deep sounding analogue style sounds as tons of crazy weird stuff.
Furthermore, the Mod FM D offers a variety of external cv modulations in order to modulate each operator individually or control the FM envelopes.
The Mod FM D is fully multitimbral, i.e. each voice can play an own sound in Multi Mode which gets stored as a complete multi set (not only vectorized). That is, you can copy a single sound to the desired multi, but edits made on that particular multi get stored along with the multi set.
Hence, we have the biggest advantage of the hybrid approach:
Analogue and modular is great but can be very complex, and you might be trapped in a system where you never reach again the pretty sound of the latest session. Storability certainly helps.
The different sections in more detail:
Matrix FM:
4 operators are arranged in a matrix, in which every operator (= sine oscillator) can be modulated by each one of the other three.
The 16 endless potentiometers of the matrix adjust the modulation amount (FM amt) and the base frequency of the operators.
For each operator you can change the base frequency by the diagonal knobs.
There are several overtone modes that determine if one operator is controlled by the keynote (or CV) = base operator, or if it's locked in as overtone (= overtone operator) to the assigned base operator. For the base operator, the number resembles xxx semitones added to the keynote.
For the overtone operator, the adjusted number is the xxx = Nth overtone or harmonics to the base operator frequency.
The locked overtone operator tracks the base operator and is still able to modulate and being modulated.
Each operator has an ADSR envelope. This envelope can also be used to frequency-modulate the operator.
Algorithm:
The algorithms from the known FM synthesis are actually special cases to the whole matrix.
As it gets pretty quickly uncontrollable if you turn all the knobs due to the feedback, Jomox have decided to implement the algorithms. There are 26 algorithms, that are derived from the DX9 with its 4 operators.
At this menu it's even possible to change the frequency mode of each operator to a fixed frequency that is edited in single Hz and which does not follow the keynote, but only modulation. That makes sense for e.g. percussive sounds.
LFO/VCO:
Each voice has 2 LFOs which can modulate either the frequency (FM) or the amplitude (AM) of an operator. Every LFO addresses 64 different wave forms that are displayed in the right OLED display.
There is another feature: each LFO can be switched into a VCO that covers the whole audio range. You can even mix it into the signal chain and it tracks to the keynote. The former LFO rate parameter turns into a detune parameter. That is, you can create classic sounding rectangle/sawtooth analogue basses or string pads - and much more of course.
Filter:
Each voice contains an analogue filter which is build up with the chip SSI2140 from Sound Semiconductor, which is an improved modern version of the old SSM2040, designed by Dave Rossum, and which had been used in Oberheim synths and the early SCI Prophet-5.
The filter has a classic 24dB output and a 12dB state-variable multimode-filter. The three basic characteristic outputs LP/BP/HP can be cross-faded continuously with one parameter called shape.
Both filter outputs 24dB/12dB can be mixed independently.
The ADSR for the filter is fast and cuts in very quick and directly, the resonance is well adjustable.
The filter section contains an own LFO for the cutoff which is independent from the digital sound engine and has also 64 waveforms.
The ADSR for the filter is fast and cuts in very quick and directly, the resonance is well adjustable.
The filter section contains an own LFO for the cutoff which is independent from the digital sound engine and has also 64 waveforms.
The VCA is a fast transistor-vca which is important for snappy sounds. The same transistor-vca is used in all Jomox drum products. Therefore the ModFM can be used as a rich source for technoid drums and percussions of any kind.
On the analogue voice board there is another sound source: Metal Noise. It can be mixed into the filter independently from the digital engine (= FM synth) and offers again an inexhaustible pool of weird sounds.
FX:
The Mod FM D also has an FX section added: reverb and 2x delay. These only work on the stereo mix output. The delay can be beat-synchronized via midi clock and offers a very short delay time in millisecond range. That gives you flanging and oil-can-like effects.

The Skorn da Bask table top module is the same module as the eurorack version but in a hammond 1590BB enclosure and aluminium panel, it can be powered thru a 2,1mm negative pin power jack, compatible with Boss and Ibanez standard power supplies.
Innovative modern analogue synthesis laboratory with integrated touch controller
Notes: Typically creative stuff from Pittsburgh Modular, the updated Voltage Lab is the pinnacle of the brand's synth output. Dual oscillator design with a 16-note touch controller, built-in sequencer and MIDI control.
Supplier's Notes:
The Pittsburgh Modular Voltage Lab 2 is a cutting edge synthesis laboratory that offers a new palette of analogue textures and waveforms to sonic researchers. Newly developed wave shaping capabilities paired with powerful synthesis tools, and a deep, performance oriented controller join together to create a complete sound design laboratory. This instrument has a very physical sound. The tones it creates feel natural and alive, with traditional waveforms becoming the seeds of unique new shapes and sounds that shift between analogue physical modeling and more unfamiliar, abstract timbres.
Laboratory Oscillator 1
Voltage Lab 2 includes a pair of Laboratory Oscillators. Each with a unique set of newly invented waveshaping tools designed to expand the sonic potential of analogue synthesis. Laboratory Oscillator 1 introduces Center Clipping to analogue synthesis. Center clipping unlocks independent control over the top and bottom of the waveform, allowing for detailed manipulation of harmonics and timbre without affecting pitch. It does this by processing waveforms from the center out as opposed to traditional methods which work from the peaks inwards.
Laboratory Oscillator 2
Laboratory Oscillator 2 introduces a host of new sonic possibilities with two new waveshapers. Pulse Symmetry and Reflection. Pulse Symmetry creates a new species of pulse wave that adds a step between the top and bottom of the waveform. The resulting wave looks like a set of stairs where the depth of the center step can be adjusted in addition to the pulse width. Wave Reflection takes the bottom half of the waveform and reflects it onto the top half. Each waveshape responds to this differently. For example, a saw wave morphs into a triangle while triangle and sine waves lose their fundamental harmonic and jump up an octave.
Pittsburgh Dynamics Controllers
The new Dynamics technology imparts Voltage Lab 2 with a uniquely organic depth and presence. By simultaneously managing both amplitude and harmonic content, the Pittsburgh Dynamics Controller expands beyond the one dimensional VCA found in other synthesizers. It does this by utilizing new advancements from traditional low pass gates to add additional definition and dimension to the voices of the Voltage Lab 2.
When used in low pass gate mode, sounds shed harmonic content and become warmer as they decrease in volume. This mimics how sound waves react to their environment. Because of this connection, the Voltage Lab 2 sounds more natural or complex compared to other instruments.
Touch Controller 2
The Touch Controller 2 enables artists to blend traditional pitched performances with the freedom to openly experiment, creating a flexible playground for music creation. Two independent channels offer a combination of real time, expressive playing and in-depth sequencing. Assignable scales, step conditions, jumps, chance effects, generative sequencing, and a host of other tools, come together allowing musicians to both create and interact with complex systems.
A Florist and Echos
The Voltage Lab 2 includes a set of analogue time based effects, Florist and Echos. The Florist is a flanger/chorus hybrid that focuses on brighter, short time shifts with highly controlled feedback allowing for maximum ringing before self oscillation. Echos is a more traditional, darker analogue BBD delay that also utilizes highly controlled feedback to provide a larger number of repeats before falling into self oscillation. Both effects are perfect for traditional workflows and unconventional experimentation.
Complete Set of Modular Tools
The Voltage Lab 2 includes a host of fully modular, analogue and digital synthesis tools to support and enhance it's core functionality. Analog tools include flexible mixers, a pair of complex function generators, noise, sample and hold, and an LFO. Digital tools cover external MIDI, arpeggiator, and a robust chance sequencer. The Voltage Lab 2 toolset is deep enough for all types of sonic experiments.

8-voice analogue synthesiser with polyphonic aftertouch, MPE & microtuning
Notes: Inspired by the RSF Polykobol, the mighty Kijimi is a serious analogue synth, packing eight voices of two-VCO architecture and SSI2140-based filters. MK2 upgrade features more powerful firmware, extensive LFO options and neat wooden end panels.
Supplier's Notes:
KIJIMI MK2 is crafted to be one of the most powerful polysynths ever built, all behind intuitive front-panel controls, from its continuous timbral variation to its exhaustive modulation matrix. The Black Corporation original features planetary-sized analog sound, inspired by the best of rare and classic synths, but unique to our own parallel galaxy.
Continuous analogue timbral control
Instead of fixed waveforms, KIJIMI's voltage-controlled oscillators can morph continuously through waveform types. Sine, triangle, sawtooth, and variable pulse waves are smoothly variable, with pulse width as you turn to the far right. It's a scheme that provides unique, independent timbral over each of the eight voices.
Deep 8-voice architecture
Each of KIJIMI 's 8 voices features 2 analogue oscillators each with a square sub-bass oscillator, for buttery timbres with extensive sound design options. The sub-oscillator produces an octave lower than the combined VCO1 and VCO2 outputs, meaning you can tune two sub-pitches. Hard sync is available in VCO sync and VCO1->2 and 2->1 configurations for maximum flexibility. There's also a noise source for adding bite and percussion components. A rich lowpass filter is built around the legendary 2140 chip and the ability to frequency-modulate it via VCO2, creates a full range of sounds from metallic and aggressive to subtle. Both filter cutoff and resonance are available as modulation destinations.
Unique envelope functionality with dedicated controls
Two ADSR envelopes come with independent rate multipliers, keyboard control of attack rate, and versatile routing. Engage the CYCLE button for a cycling trapezoidal mode, similar to that on vintage instruments like the EMS Synthi. Few polysynths offer this level of detailed control, let alone with front-panel controlsino menu diving needed.
Endless modulation programmability
Modulation possibilities set the KIJIMI apart from other polysynths. Two LFOs can be routed independently to up to eight destinations, directly on front-panel buttons, controlling frequency and waveform modulation, sub-oscillator amount, filter cutoff and frequency, and amplitude modulation. Each LFO includes multiple waveform options (sine, triangle, saw, ramp, square, random) and separate attack and decay knobs in addition to rate. ADSR2 sports four independent destinations, also via front-panel push buttons and knobs. Even velocity and aftertouch get their own dedicated control section for applying velocity or aftertouch to each parameter (LFO rate, waveform morph, sub, pitch bend, and VCA). Dedicated knobs let you apply your aftertouch and poly-aftertouch, to taste, right where you want it. You'll rarely use the menus, and when you do, it'll only be to unlock even more advanced functionality (like multiple LFO features!). KIJIMI is a rare case of fusing straightforward one-control-per-feature design with unrestricted possibilities.
Full MIDI and expressive control, tuning support
Combine all the elements, and KIJIMI is an instrument that's playable like no other. Each note you play separately triggers modulation, independently on each voice, with full control via aftertouch. Add in full MIDI control, complete MIDI polyphonic expression (MPE) support, advanced tuning capabilities (including microtuning via SCALA and 128 memory locations for tuning settings), and velocity polyphonic aftertouch, each with up to six more destinations with its own bipolar settings. KIJIMI finally brings a synthesizer architecture that can unlock the possibilities of your expressive controller of choice.
Updated package
The MK2 version of KIJIMI includes all the acclaimed sonic power and character of its predecessor, in an improved package. Updated firmware now includes the ability to assign different LFO settings (rate, waveform, envelope, and depth) to each individual destination. In addition to 128 factory and 1152 user presets, we've included user banks by Mathew Jonson, Richard Devine, and Paul Schilling. All this comes in a compact, 2.71kg/5.97 lb device with wood panels attached (or the option of metal rack ears instead). DIN MIDI and isolated USB are onboard.
EGL-1 is a desktop analogue synthesiser that is ideal for a variety of duties; modulation capabailties, VCO routed through a boost circuit and much more
Notes: EGL-1 is a desktop analogue synthesiser that is ideal for a variety of duties. The unit's sub-oscillator can be configured to determine the emitted waveform and decays when the Push switch is pressed. There are four LFOs routed to the primary VCO for bountiful modulation capabilities. The VCO itself is routed through a boost circuit for a some extra flair that's sure to punish listeners in all the right ways.
EGL-1 Features
VCO routed through boost circuit
4 LFOs provide ample modulation possibilities
Integrated sub-oscillator
Push switch causes the sub-oscillator to decay
Two types of modulation can be applied to the MAIN VCO (oscillator).
The bottom stage mixes four LFOs and allows you to adjust the input level to the MAIN VCO with the level.
The middle stage allows you to input a WAVE to the SUB OSC (another oscillator) with adjustable rise and fall of the oscillator, which can then be fed into the MAIN VCO.
The push-button in the top right-hand corner rapidly decays the power of the SUB OSC as long as it is pressed. While it decays, it has an effect on the sound of the MAIN VCO.
The MAIN VCO output also has an output circuit to make the sound more powerful.
The EGL-1 operates from a 9V centre-minus or battery. Neither is included.

A very expressive sound tool that can generate bits, pads, FX, noises, clicks, glitches, but also function as a cool vocal mic with built-in analogue FX and much more!
Notes: Typically experimental stuff from Soma, the Enner is a five-voice synth with an array of filters, electro-acoustic noise options, analogue effects and huge creative potential.
Supplier's Notes:
ENNER is a very expressive sound tool that can generate bits, pads, FX, noises, clicks, glitches, but also function as a cool vocal mic with built-in analogue FX and much more! A musician with a rich imagination and who's experienced in playing ENNER can perform an entire exciting gig using just this synth.
As an instrument, ENNER is a unique analogue synthesizer with the key principle being that all signals that make sound pass through and are managed by your body. Your hands become the central part of the circuitry. Touching different contact pads with different parts of your fingers and palms with different amounts of pressure, letting signals pass through your body defines the mixing, volume, timbre, feedback and other parameters of synthesis. Human skin has much more complex electric properties than we think. The skin provides not just resistance but also some capacitive properties and even nonlinear dependence of conductivity from current, its direction and time during which the current was applied. All of this affects the sound, making you the key part of the synthesis process.
All pots of ENNER are metallic and also function as inputs or outputs. Touching a pot can change not only the parameters but also patch the audio signals.
ENNER consists of:
The array of filters with fixed frequency properties (the triangle in the centre): the stereo high pass filter (HPF), the stereo bandpass filter (high mid - BPFH), the stereo bandpass filter (low mid - BPFL), the stereo lowpass filter (LPF). Stereo means that the filters have separate inputs for left and right channels as well as separate outputs. Sliding on the filters' pads with your fingers you can create a rich stereo image where each channel may have not only individual volume properties but also timbral ones. The outputs of the filters are mixed together and connected to the main output. Also in the triangle, you have a stereo direct input (DIR) that lets you bypass the filters.
The modulated stereo delay. The input of the delay is the two pads on the top of the triangle (DLY blue). The output of the delay is mixed with filter output and connected to the main output. Also, you have delay output connected to the pads placed on the left and right sides from the top of the triangle (DLY orange) that lets you create feedback and other interesting effects. The delay has two separate lines (left and right) with individual TIME controls (BPEMR pots), common FEEDBACK and the common pot that defines the amount of self-modulation (BIZZARE). The BPEMR pots are also touch inputs for delay time modulation.
On the right side of ENNER, there is a five-voice synthesizer with individual adjustment of frequency for each voice (TUNE knobs) with the possibility to change the pitch of all voices simultaneously (PITCH knob). TUNE knobs are also the outputs of the voices, so by touching them you can patch the voices to the filter's inputs. The synthesizer has separate output pads for each voice (pads OUT 1-5), individual modulation inputs (MOD 1-5) and ring modulation outputs (the RING 12, 23, 34 numbers indicate which voices are sources for the ring modulation). Connecting MOD and OUT pads of one voice with your fingers will pitch it up. The fifth voice has an additional modulation pad MOD 5- which can shift the pitch of the fifth voice down (connect it to +12 pad or any pad that has some positive signal including the output of the fifth voice).
On the left side of ENNER, there is the second synth that has one master generator, the output of which is divided six times by two with individual outputs for each stage of division (PULSE 1-6). This synth is aimed at creating rhythmical clicks, basses and octave tones. The frequency of the master generator is defined by the TEMPO knob. The output pads &1,2,3 are logical multiplications of different PULSE outputs giving additional and more complex rhythm combinations.
ENNER is also an electro-acoustic noise instrument. It has a piezo pickup attached to the front panel that captures sound from the casing itself. There is metallic spring and you can attach rubber bands to the panel to create various acoustic sounds. The piezo mic can capture clicks and scratches you make with your fingers, and it also allows you to create filtered feedback. Not only that, it can even capture your voice singing over the panel! To get sound from the piezo you have to connect the PIEZO OUT pad with some filters or delay inputs. Applying filters and delay on the piezo out while the panel works as a mic, catching the audio signal from the speakers connected to the ENNER output lets you create very cool acoustic feedback-based effects. PIEZO GAIN adjusts the piezo sensitivity.
The bottom of the triangle (NOISE pad) is the output of static pink noise.
External in (EXT socket and EXT pad) lets you send an external audio signal to ENNER and process it through the array of filters, delay and other ENNER stuff.
All of these features make ENNER a simple yet powerful kit of sound sources and FX that give you a rich and diverse sound palette with many possible playing techniques that you can change very fast as there is no other control over the sound other than your touches.

Notes: Drawing on the iconic Mono/Poly synth from 1981, the Multi/Poly reimagines Korg's heritage for the 21st century. Super versatile analogue modelling engine allows you to create unique synth voicings.
Supplier's Notes:
Explore breathtaking analogue-inspired sound with the limitless power of digital technology. The multi/poly is the first synthesizer to use Korg's next-generation analogue modelling technology, building on the distinctive combination of big, bold sounds and modular-derived experimental features that made the Mono/Poly legendary. It's like having a polyphonic modular system in a compact, hands-on package, offering limitless possibilities for sound designers and synth enthusiasts alike.
Create hardware mashups with East-coast, West-coast, and wavetable oscillators alongside a wide selection of newly modelled filters. Bring these sounds to life with models of different envelopes, VCAs, and portamento circuits, while virtual voice cards add organic timbral variation. The Layer Rotate feature triggers new Programs with each key press, while Kaoss Physics, Motion Sequencing 2.0, massive modulation capabilities, and more allow for deep sound exploration.
Next-Level Analogue Modelling
multi/poly features redesigned, incredibly detailed filters and oscillators, and advances in analogue modelling that take this technology to a new level. Each voice contains a Virtual Voice Card, where oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs, and portamento circuits are modelled to reflect analogue hardware component variations. As a result, each voice can have its own slightly different character, creating rich and naturally evolving timbres. Just like in an analogue synthesizer, voice cards continue to play even if you're not hearing them. Envelopes evolve naturally, meaning if you play a long pad with an extended-release time, newly played notes "catch" the envelope at its current state rather than restarting from zero. Oscillators and LFOs maintain phase, while resonance continues to ring out. Pitch drift mimics the subtle instabilities of true analogue hardware.
multi/poly also includes envelope curvature presets inspired by classic synths like the Mono/Poly, MS-20, ARP Odyssey, and Prophet 5. Additionally, analogue VCAs behave differently depending on voltage, with varying thresholds for turning on and off, which has a strong impact on the Amp Envelope's character. multi/poly models VCA responses from the Mono/Poly, MS-20, Prophet 5, Mini, Odyssey, and more, alongside a linear option.
Four Oscillators Per Program for Complex Tones
multi/poly offers four oscillators per Program, providing thick, multi-layered tones. You can choose from three types of oscillators:
Classic oscillators:
These faithfully model traditional analogue waveforms with stunning accuracy. The 11 options include both single and dual waveforms, giving you rich, thick sounds. Front-panel knobs offer control over pulse width, triangle "lean," dual-waveform blending, and more.
Digital oscillators
Play wavetables with up to 64 steps, like vintage hybrid synths or modern Eurorack modules. Start with over 200 factory wavetables or import your own using the Editor/Librarian software for macOS and Windows. You can even import Modwave wavetables or convert wavetables from popular software formats. The 30+ Modifiers allow you to reshape wavetables, while 8 Morph Types (Stretch, Flip, Mirror, etc.) process them in real time.
Waveshaper oscillators
Inspired by West-Coast synthesis, these oscillators take simple waveforms (sine or triangle) and process them through a shaper table, producing dynamic harmonics. Use the Berkeley shaper for traditional wavefolding timbres, or choose from over 90 shaper types for a vast array of tones. The multi/poly also supports modulatable pulse width, adding richness and motion to your sound.
Additionally, the multi/poly includes a noise generator with dedicated filtering and saturation, and a ring modulator with inputs from the oscillators. You can create powerful sounds by leveraging the enhanced sync and x-mod capabilities, which expand on the Mono/Poly's original design. Create unique tones by syncing oscillators 2, 3, and 4 to oscillator 1, or split sync and x-mod into pairs for independent control.
Dual Modelled Filters for Maximum Flexibility
multi/poly's filters are newly redesigned to offer a range of classic and modern options. The multi/poly also includes the MS-20 LP and HP 12dB/octave Korg 35 filters, recreating the aggressive, distinctive sound of the MS-20. For gentler tones, use the SE M/P 2-pole filter, which offers continuous control for sweeping between lowpass, band-reject, and highpass, with a separate bandpass mode. multi/poly's filters support audio-rate modulation, allowing you to modulate filters using any oscillator or the ring modulator for bright, fizzy, and bubbling effects.
M/Poly: A 4-pole self-resonating filter, modelled on the Mono/Poly.
Mini: A ladder filter from a famous American mono-synth, with reduced resonance at low frequencies-perfect for bass.
Pro: From the first programmable polyphonic synthesizer, offering strong resonant sweeps.
Ladder HP/BP: 4-pole self-resonating highpass and bandpass filters.
Use the Drive circuit to add weight or distortion, ranging from subtle thickening to extreme saturation. You can use two filters at once in series or parallel, with each source (oscillators, noise, and ring mod) having its own balance control to crossfade between filters. Modulate the A/B balance for even more creative sound shaping.
The Power of Four
multi/poly's structure allows you to build four Layers, each containing a separate Program. This adds an entirely new dimension of sonic complexity, as you can layer up to four Programs simultaneously in a Performance. These can be used to create massive, multi-layered sounds or creative splits and velocity-triggered variations. Each Program features its own set of oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs, and effects, allowing you to craft detailed, evolving performances that change with every key press.
Each Program starts with four oscillators, a noise generator, and both sync and x-mod capabilities. These are processed through two independent filters, providing massive tonal flexibility. For modulation, multi/poly includes four loopable DAHDSR envelopes, five LFOs, and six Mod Processors, allowing you to create detailed and evolving sounds.
Layer Rotate for Evolving Performances
The Layer Rotate feature allows you to cycle through these four Programs with each key press, ensuring dynamic, ever-changing performances. Inspired by the original Mono/Poly's paraphonic mode, Layer Rotate offers endless creative possibilities. You can set the Layers to trigger in random or repeating order and use them in combination with the arpeggiator for complex, mind-bending patterns.
Production-ready Effects
The multi/poly's effects ensure your sounds are polished and ready for the stage or studio. Each layer features three dedicated effects, along with a send to the Performance's master reverb and a master parametric EQ. In addition to standard effects like compressors, EQs, choruses, flangers, phasers, and stereo delays, you'll have access to unique sound-shaping processors such as the Wave Shaper, Talking Modulator, Reverse Delay, and Multiband Mod Delay, as well as the famous Overb from the OASYS and Kronos. multi/poly also includes modelled effects like Vox guitar amps, Vox wah, Vintage Distortion, CX-3 Rotary Speaker and Vibrato/Chorus, multi-head tape echo, and a collection of classic guitar pedals, giving you endless possibilities to shape your sound.
Built to Perform
An instrument that sounds this great deserves to look and feel fantastic, too. The new semi-weighted keybed is smooth and expressive, providing a responsive playing experience, while the knobs offer just the right amount of resistance, perfect for fine-tuning your sounds. The solid aluminium front panel ensures durability, making it road-ready for live performances, while the wooden side-panels and blue-on-black colour scheme are a stylish nod to the original Mono/Poly design. Plus, the multi/poly comes with a custom-made soft case, making it easy to transport and protect your instrument wherever you go.
