Notes: Erica Pico INPUT module is just what you need to interface your modular system with external synths or even your mp3 player or mobile phone.

It boosts external signal to modular synth signal level.

With the Pico Input, line signals from, for example, a synthesizer, drum-computer, audio interface or smartphone can be raised to modular level. The module delivers up to 40 dB of gain. Thanks to its two channels, users can comfortably process mono as well as stereo material.

The Pico Input comes equipped with two signal paths. Each signal path features an audio input, a volume potentiometer and an output. Up to 40 dB of amplification are available. Using jumpers on the circuit board, it is possible to dampen the maximum gain to 20 dB. The module's first input is a stereo jack, meaning the user can connect a smartphone or tablet without any adapter cables. In this case, incoming signals are distributed internally to both channels.

Notes: Module A-185-2 is a precision control voltage adder/buffer. Precision means that the amplification of the inputs without attenuators is exactly 1.00 and is suitable to add control voltages for the pitch control of VCOs (e.g. from keyboard + sequencer 1 + sequencer 2). Summing resistors matched to 0.1% are used to obtain an accuracy of 0.1% for the added voltages.

The module is equipped with four CV inputs: one with attenuator and three without attenuator. Each input is normalled to +1 V (i.e. if no plug is inserted the input contributes 1 V to the sum appearing at the output).

The input with attenuator can be used for common modulations (e.g. from an LFO, ADSR, Theremin, Pitch-Bender) for all VCOs connected to the output. The Lev.1 control is used to adjust the depth of the modulation, the first switch selects the polarity of the modulation. If no signal is connected to the first socket the attenuator works as a (fine) tuning knob because a voltage in the range 0...+1V (right position of the switch) or 0...-1V (left position of the switch) is added to the CV output.

The inputs without attenuators are planned to add control voltages coming out of keyboards, sequencers, Midi-to-CV interfaces, ribbon controllers or other CV sources that follow the 1V/oct standard. For example the CV of a keyboard can be used to transpose the CV coming from a sequencer, or the CV of a slow sequencer can be used to transpose the CV from a fast sequencer.

Each input is equipped with a three-position switch that determines if the corresponding voltage is added (right position), subtracted (left position) or if the input has no effect (centre position). If no plug is inserted the corresponding switch works as an octave switch for the lower three sections as the default 1 V are added or subtracted to the output voltage according to the switch position. The first switch can be used to add a variable voltage to the sum output. The variable voltage is adjusted with the Lev.1 control and the knob works then as kind of a (fine) tuning control.

The module is equipped with 4 outputs: three non-inverting and one inverting ouput. An internal jumper can be used to connect the non-inverted or inverted output to the CV line of the A-100 bus. That way the module can used to control several VCOs that are connected to the same bus board as the A-185-2 (same functionality as A-185-1).

Notes: Use the Stereo Line In 1U system to bring external audio into your modular system for processing. The system works with balanced +4 dBu professional audio products and with -10dbV unbalanced gear.

Notes: The Stereo Mixer 1U provides a convenient way to combine your mono and stereo sources into a single stereo mix. There is level control over the first two channels and, using a rear connector, you can chain multiple Stereo Mixer 1U's together into a hidden 3rd stereo channel without using up channels on the front panel. The chain i/o connectors are fully compatible with the Mixup connectors so you are able to mix 1U and 3U mix chains together as needed.

The Stereo Mixer 1U is a versatile, expandable audio mixer for the Intellijel 1U format. It has two pairs of front panel inputs, each with its own level control, and a mixed output pair. For each input pair, the left channel is normalled to the right channel, for mono operation.

Using 3-pin Link connectors on the back panel, you can chain multiple Stereo Mix 1U's together in series, giving you the ability to mix together even more inputs, or to create sub-mixes for routing audio around larger systems. Notes: The A-138d primarily is used for crossfading between two modular signals. On the other hand you can used it for inserting stompboxes or other effects into your modular system. Both the inputs and the mix output are available twice, like a mini-multiples e.g. for using the input signal also for other applications, kind of like a Thru.

Crossfader: With the crossfading control CF you blend manually between the inputs In 1 and In 2. The Mute switch allows for muting one of the two signals, independent on the crossfader position.

Effect insert: The signal at input In1 is emitted at the FX Send output and can be attenuated with the Atten. control because the modular system works with much higher levels.

The effect unit's output is inserted to the FX Return input socket and its level can be boosted with the Amp. control. The processed signal is available at the bottom in 2 socket.

Use the CF control to blend between the original signal and the effect signal and to mute switch for quick muting e.g. of the effect return signal.

Notes: Those, who own Moog Mother 32 know, that it requires -5V - +5V on 1V/oct input to operate in full range, while the eurorack standard is 0V - +10V. So, to control Moog Mother 32 from a eurorack sequencer you need to bias a sequencer output for 5 volts down. And vice versa, Moog Mother 32 sequencer outputs -5V - +5V on 1V/oct output, and, if you wish to control some eurorack VCO from Moog Mother 32, you need to bias it 5 volts up. This is exactly what MSCALE does: it has two sections, upper one adds 5V to the input voltage, other subtracts 5V form the input voltage.

Of course, the module is not limited for use with Moog Mother 32 only. You can use it as a regular eurorack precision voltage scaler.

Notes: Module A-134-2 contains two identical voltage controlled crossfader units.

Each unit has two voltage controlled amplifiers (VCAs) with opposite control behaviour available. The outputs of the two VCAs are mixed together to obtain a common output. The behaviour of the control voltage inputs can be chosen with an internal jumper:

Symmetrical mode: If the corresponding jumper is not set both VCAs of the crossfader have the same 50% amplification with zero CV. If the applied CV becomes positive the amplification of VCA1 decreases and those of VCA2 increases in the same way. A negative CV has the opposite result. The CV voltage range to obtain the maximum/minimum positions of the crossfader is about -2.5....+2.5V. This mode is useful for bidirectional (i.e. positive and negative) control voltages, for example LFO or joy stick (adjusted to 0V CV in centre position).

Asymmetrical mode: If the corresponding jumper is set VCA2 is fully closed and VCA1 has full 100% amplification with zero CV. If the applied CV becomes positive the amplification of VCA1 decreases and those of VCA2 increases in the same way. The CV voltage range to obtain the maximum/minimum positions of the crossfader is about 0...+5V. A negative CV has no function in this mode. This mode is useful for unidirectional (i.e. only positive) control voltages, for example ADSR, ribbon controller or Theremin control voltage.

The CV input of the upper unit (CV1) is normalled to the CV input of the lower unit (CV2). I.e. if no plug is inserted to CV2 the CV input of the upper unit (CV1) also controls the lower unit.

The second signal input of the upper unit (In1B) is normalled to the first signal input of the lower unit (In2A). I.e. if no plug is inserted into In2A the signal In1B is used as the first signal input of the second unit.

As the inputs and outputs are DC coupled the module can be used for both audio and control voltage signal processing.

Notes: The ADDAC213B is the second pair of modules from ADDAC's Eurorack Bridge system.

A pair of ADDAC213Bs can be used in standalone to send/receive 8 CV or audio signals between different points inside the same case or as an expansion to the main pair of Eurorack Bridge modules, the ADDAC213As.

Two ADDAC213B modules can be connected to each other with the use of a single ribbon cable and then used inside a case to carry signals between distant points without the need for long cables. Less clatter, less spaghetti- more space of your fingers on those knobs!

ADDAC213Bs always come in pairs. A single pair can send & receive up to 8 CV or audio signals between different points in your case at the same time. The modules can be installed in normal position or a 180 degree position to fit any need.

As an Expansion to an ADDAC213A.

Each ADDAC213B connected to the backside of an ADDAC213A adds 8 more channels to the main bridging functionality of the ADDAC213A.

Up to 2 ADDAC213B can be connected to an ADDAC213A module, expanding the bridging between two difference cases to a total of 24 channels.

BLINKS is a VU meter for eurorack with 24 RGB leds per channel, function is pretty easy, it has 2 inputs, one for each led column (no output).

PATT button changes the led pattern ( 6 patterns to choose ).

SENS button changes the input sensitivity, cycling in 7 steps.

Long pressing the PATT button enters the color scheme selection.

Long pressing SENS button enters the brightness adjustment. Most probably you'll prefer the lowest setting.

The module has a 5v regulator in case you don't have 5v in you eurorack PSU. A jumper in the back select if the led board would be powered by the 5v rail or the internal regulator (which works with the +12v rail)

Notes: STMix is a four-channel stereo mixer in 28hp and 1U format. It can work independently or as an expansion of Befaco's Hexmix module via the six-pin connector located in the back. The module is designed under the Intellijel 1U format.

Notes: Voltage control is the basic tenant of modular synthesis: parameters may be modulated by changing control voltages (CVs), simply by plugging in a patch cable. However, during patching it's common to encounter incompatible voltage ranges, with signal outputs and inputs having different amplitudes and sensitivities.

An indispensable utility module, Bias 2 provides a compact yet precise solution to quickly interface signals between modules within a Eurorack modular system, without interrupting your creativity.

Comprising of two independent sections, each with dual inputs and dual outputs, its carefully selected combination of normalised reference voltages and amplification/attenuation factors makes it a breeze to convert between the most common signal ranges: -5 to +5 V, 0 to +5 V and 0 to +10 V.

Temperature stable and accurate circuit design. The attenuator is exponential and can be regulated more precisely in the initial range.

As an attenuverter, the fader describes an S-curve, i.e. it is in Range +/- 0 finer adjustable. The AC gain is 1, so there is no loss at maximum Att/Attv settings.

The offset potentiometer shift by +/- 5 volts and can be switched to another mode on the back of the PCB using jumpers.

Here the attenuation is towards zero made until it is zero.

The normal mode leaves the voltage at the specified offset value.

Channel A is normalized to channel B so you can get two different CVs.

On the rear side of the PCB, you have a jumper to switch from offset pre fader (good for ADSR) and post fader.

ADDAC309 CV to Expression allows a simple and straight forward connection between modular and effect pedals that features expression pedal TRS inputs.

Instead of using an expression pedal into the effects pedal the user can use this module in between a CV source and the Effects pedal to be controlled.

This is a great way to control the available parameters on the effects pedals straight from a CV source.

ADDAC309 features 2 channels each with a CV Input with attenuator and a 1/4" jack output.

Notes: The PAN/XFADE module is a combined routing processor for creating panning and crossfades. The PAN/XFADE works either as a signal panner, meaning one input signal is moved continuously between the left and right output, or, in crossfade mode, where it blends between two input signals into one output. Of course controllable by CV; and working for audio signals as well as DC control voltages.

Notes: In recent years, stereo signal paths have increasingly found their way into the wonderful world of Eurorack synthesis - so naturally, utilities should follow suit. Introducing the Herzlich PSA, a simple solution to a problem you might not even realize you had. Far from just useful as an attenuator for audio sources in mixdowns, the PSA can also be used to bring audio down to more managable levels (such as line level), attenuate multiple signals simultaneously (like increasing the modulation depth of two LFO's at the same time! It's like having two hands, but with one hand!) and even function as a multiple: Attenuator 1 is normalled to Attenuator 2, so multing your stereo signal (or two mono signals) while attenuating the two signals individually is easy as pie.

There's not much else to say, except that it's passive, and draws no power - and it looks great!

Notes: The HEARTBEAT EXTENDER expands the functionality of the HEARTBEAT module. It is connected to the HEARTBEAT module with a small ribbon cable (included) and offers following features:

Six preset buttons to store and recall different tempos with one button press

MIDI in and out sockets with LED indicators: The HEARTBEAT module can follow incoming MIDI timing data (MIDI start/stop/clock) as an additional option; and the current tempo of the HEARTBEAT is sent out as MIDI timing data if it acts as master clock in a complete system - other MIDI devices will follow it's tempo.

A knob that controls either the swing amount or the transition time when changing from one preset to another (known as accelerando/ritardando).

7Path is a pair of modules that can connect two points in your system, or two different systems together via an ethernet cable. Think of it like a patch cable extension cord: instead of 7 long patch cables, you just have 1 ethernet cable! 7Path allows patching of any type of eurorack signal to be passed between the modules. There is no restriction for using only input or output signals on the modules, you can have combinations of both.

The jack numbers between the modules are 1-1. Thus, a signal you patch to the #4 jack of a 7Path module will be available on #4 jack of the other 7Path module!

Notes: NEXUM is a smart multi-cable tester.

Why:

To test the unknown power cable of a fresh module.

How:

Plug a cable in one of the sockets and the other end specularly on the opposite side. Check if the blue LEDs light up steady in a number equal to the cores of the cable you are testing. Wiggle the wire back and forth just to be sure that all the individual cores are firmly connected.

Due to its configuration, the connection is considered true only if there is no continuity between the adjacent wires or discontinuity in that specific core. This smart feature will avoid false positives.

On top there are two LEDs indicators directly wired to the power lines to check if the -12V or +12V PSU power lines are misbehaving.
