Background
The musical-metropolis Berlin influenced the Electro and Minimal Scene like no other city in the world. Uberschall is capturing this exact spirit with its release „Sounds of Berlin". Providing a localized source of inspiration and a professional, standout production device for sound masters worldwide. The first part of this series features the two top artists Ruede Hagelstein and Asem Shama. Both DJs are well known for their releases on labels such as „Upon You", „Lebensfreude" and „Sportclub" and delivered their unique spirit to clubs and festivals like Watergate (Ger), Womb (JP), Fabric (UK), Berghain (Ger), Cocoon (Ger) and Sonar (Esp).
With the release „Sounds of Berlin" Uberschall covers the different subgenres of minimal sound i from 120 BPM Afterhour-House to 130 BPM Dancefloor-Techno i and is oriented around labels and themes such as „Kompakt", „Mobilee", „Vakant", „Boxer" and „Cocoon". The 1 GB content is built for professional club sound needs. 1258 Loops & Samples provide enough material to be invited to countless sessions and hours of inspiration and creativity.
Forward Features
Each of the 75 construction kits is broken down into its single lines, each kit offers bassloops, synthloops and drum and percussion loops which can be integrated easily into every liveset, thanks to Elastik. For your own groove creation you can use the single drumsounds which provide the low-end treatment and high frequency sizzle for the right punch in every club. All material is preprogrammed and ready to roll out thanks to the bundled Elastik interface. Elastik has many features which compliment the electro genre nicely: filters per note, hi quality transposition, granulation effects, volume settings per note and easy mixing with additional Elastik libraries.

Notes: I Love Acid started as what was meant to be a one-off party, back in April 2007, with Luke Vibert, Posthuman and friends playing a night of Braindance-style acid at Corsica Studios in London. A second party was organised a few months later...and then another...and now, it's ten years later - with over a hundred events in over a dozen cities, countries, and festival stages - celebrating all forms of acid and the sound of the Roland TB303.
In 2014, a record label was born out of the club night. Strictly vinyl, no downloads and no represses, each edition limited to 303 hand-numbered and stamped copies. That series is approaching number 14 now, with each record selling out usually in days or even hours. This compilation is a collection of artists representing the many facets of I Love Acid - from acid house to ambient, techno to breaks, electro to experimental.
Released on a custom designed USB stick shaped like a TB303, crafted to fit and work with CDJs, on a keyring and cast in rubber to protect from wear and tear. The stick itself is 8GB in size, allowing the owner to add plenty more music and make use of the stick how they wish.

Review: The Force Dimension was formed in the mid-1980s by Rene Van Dijck and Tycho De Groot. After some upstart demos and appearances on compilations, the band signed a contract with the Belgian label KK Records, on which their self-titled debut was released in 1989, curiously on two different versions; one produced by Luc Van Acker (Revolting Cocks) and the other co-produced by Dirk Ivens (Klinik, Dive). The duo continued developing their sound, which mixed EBM, industrial and ever-various electronic influences. In 1990 they finished what is considered their definitive work, Deus Ex Machina, followed by the mega club-hit 'Algorythm'; they released another single next year, 'New Funk', but after a couple of compilations stopped working together in 1997. It wasn't until 2013 that the project was resurrected by Van Dijck; such a resurrection certainly won't go unrewarded now that this whopping new compilation of early recordings from their earliest days now surfaces. Here, the pair unearth their best, most impressive incipient gothic disco-janks; cold, eclectic-DJ-set-mixable experiments for the genre historicist.

Review: Part of the early 80s Sheffield avant-garde scene, In The Nursery was formed at the turn of the decade between twin brothers Nigel and Klive and Humberstone. As living mirror-images, they knew likeness first hand; it seems fitting that they would embrace the imitative, reproductive spirit of industrial music. Under the shared moniker, they would subvert the prevailing mood, agonising grotesque military connotations of an uncertain future by working in a new style, "martial electronica". As heard on this latest set of Recordings made between 1981-1999, their sound was not totally tinny or robotic, making use of cinematic and Romantic tropes in near equal measure to futuristic shock-horrors. From spectacular edge-of-your-seaters ('Stone Souls') to operatic apogees ('Listen') and modish drum machine workouts ('A To I'), this is a comprehensive compilation, just as suited to the spectacular screen as for the auratic DJ set - pick your poison.
