Having already graced Semantica with the Tumulto EP earlier this year, Skirt returns to Svreca's label with Wish In The Maze, whose title track provides some eerie halfstep techno with a delicate approach to sound design and as labyrinthine a structure as its name suggests. The remixes are top notch as well, as Token regular Inigo Kennedy provides a version that offers only the merest of regular pulses to the sprawling original, and Ancient Methods adds some slippery breakbeats and overwhelming low end which beef things up considerably.
