These protective sleeves are made from polypropylene which is a great all-around choice for economical protection. The material is crystal clear so it won't obscure your album covers while on display. These High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sleeves are similar to the original "Rice-Paper" Sleeves. They are made from 3 layers of HDPE and 1 layer of acid-free paper which is sandwiched between 2 of the layers of HDPE. The acid-free paper neutralizes migrating acids as well as absorbs moisture. The HDPE resists static build up and protects against abrasion.

Notes: This is the same high-end inner sleeve design that comes with some of the best audiophile record pressings and labels, but at a reasonable price. It's an archival quality, three-ply, soft rice paper sleeve that is anti-static and acid-free. These sleeves will keep your collection dust and scratch free. Like all our other products, our outer record sleeves are designed by record geeks who want to make products worthy of their own standards. Other protective covers may split at the seams or wrinkle, but our sleeves are designed to forego all of those issues.
