I Wouldn't Change A Thing vinyl

Originally out on the wonderful Expansion label, this is a delightful blend of disco, boogie, modern soul and jazz-funk. It gets reissued by Japanese label Tower Vinyl and opens up with the feel-good energy of 'I Wouldn't Change A Thing' by Coke Escovdeo. It's one of those super sweet tunes that has it all - the underlapping bassline, the dusty drums, golden synth work and buttery smooth vocal harmonies as well as a great sax line that bursts out mid-way through. It's the sort of thing Floating Points drops and sends a place wild. 'Make It Sweet' is just as heartwarming on the flip with its jumbled bongos and gorgeous vocals.
