Review: Post Malone's new album Austin is a nod to his real name - Austin Post, which immediately suggested the music in it will be more honest and vulnerable than ever before. It is his fifth album overall and one of 2023's most anticipated as the famously face-tattooed rapper builds on and intensifies the sound of his fourth studio album, Twelve Carat Toothache, from last year. He plays guitar on every single track and says it made the record the most challenging yet rewarding of his career to work on. Early singles 'Mourning' and 'Chemical' have already proven big hits with fans.
