Broken Dreams takes on Guerrilla Warfare

Alessandro-Adriani-590Alessandro Adriani chalks up a release on the Pinkman Records sub-label.

The Pinkman releases are coming at us thick and fast at the moment, with label founder Marsman revealing two forthcoming solo EPs by Mark Du Mosch and Norwell are due to arrive in as many weeks, while earlier this year Nick Lapien’s Metropolis project helped inaugurate a new white label sub-division called Broken Dreams with the Angstpolitiek EP. Furthermore, Metropolis’ music has also made its way to Pinkman sister label Charlois alongside other records by Timothy J. Fairplay, Alessandro Parisi, and a split EP by DJ Overdose X DJ Technician. Pinkman have now managed to pluck four tracks from the production mind of Mannequin Records boss Alessandro Adriani, providing the Italian with a second ever EP release under his own name.

Entitled Guerrilla Warfare, Pinkman’s Broken Dreams label have described the music as “unapologetically wave” with “croaking samples and brutish percussion coiling to a bitter end.” It follows Adriani debut solo album Montagne Trasparenti ‎that Texas label Monofonus Press put out this year which saw the Italian move away from his Newclear Waves production moniker following a slew of releases for his own label and Desire. Preview all four tracks from Guerrilla Warfare below which should excite fans of Silent Servant’s recent form.

Broken Dreams will release Guerrilla Warfare by Alessandro Adriani on June 27th.
