Korg adds new MIDI controllers to its range

The Japanese manufacturer introduces the nanoKEY and nanoKONTROL Studio.

We only just left our keyboards from reporting on the last new product from Korg and the Japanese company are back at it again, only this time on the digital front following the announcement of their Minilogue polysynth. As RA report, Korg have revealed two new products for the digital realm in the nanoKEY and nanoKONTROL Studio. Perhaps the biggest appeal of these MIDI controllers is wireless connectivity (with USB included) which producers using this product on their mobile devices will not doubt enjoy while travelling or abroad.

The nanoKEY comes replete with keyboard, eight assignable knobs, velocity-sensitive trigger pads and a touch pad taking inspiration from the functionality of Korg’s Kaossilator KAOSS PADD. While the nanoKONTROL Studio feature eight faders, a jog wheel and other mixing desk parameters like mute, solo and select buttons. In addition to this there’s a suite of digital instruments to be found bundled onboard these products too. To see both in action check out the video below and for more information visit the Korg website.

Korg will release the nanoKEY and nanoKONTROL Studio in April and May for a rrp of $130 US. Pre-orders for both are available over at Juno here and here.
