Call Super resurfaces on Nous
The first release of 2015 from the UK-born producer will be the Fluenka Mitsu EP.
Our affections for the work of JR Seaton should be well established by now and the producer was responsible for our favourite album of last year in the debut Call Super LP Suzi Ecto, as well as a fine outing on The Trilogy Tapes as Ondo Fudd. With this in mind it’s quite exciting to discover Seaton is set to add the Nous label to his discography with the forthcoming Call Super 12″ Fluenka Mitsu. Founded in Athens, but now based in Berlin, Nous has effortlessly nudged its way into the affections of many a contemporary deep house fan thanks to output from Miltiades, Route 8, and the Vaib-R project of Wes ‘Moon B’ Gray.
Last seen colluding with Berceuse Heroique on a store-only Nous Heroique 12″ featuring Healing Force Project and Willis Anne issued to coincide with ADE, news of a Call Super record represents quite the coup for Nous. Due out at the end of February, both tracks from Call Super can be previewed below – those who listened to last night’s Hessle Audio show on Rinse FM might recognise the A-side – and also be on the look out for a forthcoming second edition of the remix-focused Ethos series from Nous.
Nous will release Fluenka Mitsu by Call Super in late February.
