_moonraker unearth Refracuity

Listen to a second transmission from _moonraker on the _bruxist imprint.

Alongside the Great Circles label and a single release for The Trilogy Tapes, Philadelphia duo _moonraker’s output has also come through the _bruxist platform. Also based in Philadelphia, _bruxist’s most recent release came from Metasplice in the form of a double-cassette called Live In Japan, while other underscored artists include hair_loss and one half of _moonraker, kenneth_lay. Their return to the label come as a five-track, spellcheck sensative Refracuity EP full of the foggy, broken electronica we’ve come to expect from the label and _moonraker.

Last year Juno Plus spoke with Justin Gibbon from Great Circles where he told Brendan Arnott that after the first time he heard a finished product from the pair he was like: “I don’t know what to do, how do I deal with this”. Nothing much seems to have changed on this release, which will arrive in 12″ form, with each track sounding as confusing, unhinged and murky as the next. Sample them all below.
