Native Instruments unveil updated Traktor Audio 2
The new version is billed as “the world’s smallest DJ soundcard for Traktor DJ and Traktor Pro 2”.
Originally surfacing in 2009, the Traktor Audio 2 was Native Instruments’ most streamlined audio interface for use with its Traktor software, offering headphone monitoring for two channels in a compact package. Now the product has received a refresh at the hands of Native Instruments, with the even smaller device coming with a number of key new features.
As well as the device now being small enough to fit into your pocket, the chief improvement is plug-and-play support for the Traktor DJ app for mobile devices, making it one of the best solutions for those who might need to DJ from their phones. NI’s 24-bit/48kHz resolution sound standard is also maintained in the device, while the device is suitable for use with Traktor Pro 2 as well. Those wishing to see the device in action can check it out in the video below, while full specs can be found at the Native Instruments website.
The Traktor Audio 2 is available now at a price of £89.
