As well as having a hand in the excellent Patrick Cowley compilation School Daze, the long running San Francisco party Honey Soundsystem has also provided the Juno Plus editorial team with one of our favourite live mixes of 2013 with the 190 minute DJ set from Silent Servant that popped up on their Soundcloud earlier this year. This two hour recording of Traxx, aka Nation boss Melvin Oliphant III, is just as impressive however, capturing his inimitable mixing approach and filling us with a tinge of regret that our attendance at the recent White Material showcase meant we weren’t able to catch him possessing the dancefloor elsewhere in Stoke Newington that night.
