Listen to a track from the New York duo’s forthcoming EP for The Corner.
Anthony Parasole’s multifaceted label The Corner really seems to be hitting its stride of late, with the imprint closing a successful 2013 with a trio of releases from Tom Dicicco, Adam-X’s X-Crash alias, and the collaboration of Phil Moffa and Parasole himself. Parasole and unsung mastering hero Moffa previously collaborated together on last year’s Atlantic Ave release, which saw them creating techno with some particularly ominous textures.
The forthcoming Pressure EP from the duo will see them renew their partnership with what looks to be some even more driving material. Streaming in full below, the title track sees a deep, rounded bass groove accented by firm kick drums and crisp dub chords – a far cry from Moffa’s murkier, crunchier collaborations with DJ Spider earlier this year.
