Wild Oats presents The Boat Party Bonus

Kyle Hall will issue a follow-up 12″ to his debut album The Boat Party.

Long described as “Detroit’s next wunderkind,” this year has seen Kyle Hall cast off this tag, steering his Wild Oats label forwards as an operation noted for dancefloor impact and raw experimentation, continue his FunkinEvil collaboration with Apron Records boss FunkinEven, turn out a raft of remixes and serve up a keenly awaited debut album in The Boat Party. Hall will now complement that zippy eight-track long player with the release of The Boat Party Bonus EP, which features a quartet of productions that again showcase Hall’s ability to construct left of field dance records designed for club play.

First alluded to a few months ago, The Boat Party Bonus EP comes packing the below distinct artwork; pleasingly it also eschews any standard notion of a remix release from The Boat Party in favour of all new smudgy, delayed and redlining house music from Hall. Also included is “12 Doors,” a frazzled techno collaboration with the Bologna-based pairing Nas1, and Hall’s own self styled 2k13 Mix of album track “Flemmenup”

Wild Oats will release The Boat Party Bonus EP in November.
