Gesloten Cirkel enters The Hole on forthcoming release

Anonymous producer Gesloten Cirkel will make his return with a 12″ for equally enigmatic imprint Berceuse Heroique – stream the results here.

With little more information than a Soundcloud page to go on, Berceuse Heroique seems to be affiliated with the equally nascent ΚΕΜΑΛ imprint – neither of which have any physical releases to speak of, but have a bulging Soundcloud filled with treats. ΚΕΜΑΛ seems to be focused on pairing reissued material with interesting remixes; the two releases confirmed so far see Future Times captain Max D and JD Twitch remixing some classic Charles Hayward material and a field recordings of a Greek fire walking ritual from 1979 get reworked by Vatican Shadow and Pete Swanson.

The Claude Debussy referencing Berceuse Heroique label adopts a more contemporary outlook, with their debut release pairing a new production from the supposedly Russian native Gesloten Cirkel with a remix from Nonplus boss Boddika under his rarely used electro-leaning Transportation AAD alias. Both tracks are available to stream in full below, with “The Hole” leading us into considerably darker electro territory than previous Gesloten Cirkel releases.

When approached for more details, the label politely declined to add any more information on the identities of those involved, but they did inform us that these releases will be seeing vinyl releases in the near future.
