Dublab announce Light From Los Angeles compilation

Nite Jewel, Suzanne Kraft, Julia Holter, Sun Araw and Teebs are among those who feature on Light From Los Angeles, a forthcoming multimedia compilation due for release via non profit web radio come label Dublab.

Due for release next month, the compilation is reffered to as “a glowing reflection of golden creativity” and is based around an intriguing intriguing audio/visual concept. The vibrant creative nature of the Los Angeles music community is often referenced, and Dublab are hoping to document it in a visually and aurally stimulating fashion, with the aforementioned artists and more commissioned to submit both music and accompanying videos shot on Digital Harinezumi cameras.

The first fruits of this release can be viewed in the video for “What We See”, the collaboration between RVNG Intl artist Julia Holter and the excellent Nite Jewel, and all of the music and video from Light From Los Angeles will be available to the public under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial copyright license, with Dublab encouraging those inspired by the project to remix the material into “amazing new forms”.

Dublab will release Light From Los Angeles on October 23.
