Fledgling Amsterdam label Purple Maze inaugurate their new MazeFREE series of gratis downloads from artists on their roster with a nice slab of concrete house from the ever mysterious Yør.

Intriguingly “Rushed” is also the prelude to a forthcoming third Yør release on Purple Maze  and demonstrates the young Hamburg based producer has progressed somewhat from the direction he laid down across the excellent Rave and Modern Slaves Of Contemporary Contexts EP. Whereas those releases were about Yør cloaking the traditional elements of house music in vast waves of dusty claustrophobic textures, “Rushed” lets all manner of glistening light into the crunchy, bass heavy four minute production.
