Listen: Moodymann – I Guess You Never Been Lonely

Moodymann has unveiled the next release on his own KDJ imprint, with the legendary Detroit producer teaming up with arch synth popsters Junior Boys on “I Guess You Never Been Lonely”.

You can listen to the result of the unlikely collaboration via the video above;  you can also check snippets of two other tracks set to appear on the EP – “Jimmy D’s (theme)” and “Icecreamnthesummertyme” – via the Soundcloud player below. The latter track in particular has “summer anthem” indelibly marked on its forehead, and features the dulcet tones of Nikki-O aka Nicole Covington.

It seems likely the EP will precede the recently announced Moodymann long player, which is due sometime this year. Those who can’t wait should indulge in the free digital mini-album Dixon Jnr recently released at the behest of Toyota-funded car manufacturer Scion.
