Watch: NKC – Fading Floor/Shockout (Maddslinky remix)

Ace London imprint Awkward Movements have unveiled a video teaser for its new release from NKC, featuring remixes from Maddslinky and Raimo. 

The video was produced by Toby Knight, the man responsible for the excellent clip that accompanied Mr Beatnick’s shimmering house jam “Sun Goddess”.  It veers between footage of soldiers, African children and all manner of archival footage, rounding off with some fairly graphic scenes from a 1980s movie called Massacre In Dinosaur Valley, which we now really want to watch.

The video is soundtracked by NKC’s “Fading Floor” and the Maddslinky remix of “Shockout” – you can also stream snippets of all four tracks set to appear on the release via the Soundcloud player below.

Awkward Movements will release the vinyl version of NKC’s Fading Floor on Monday, May 7. Its digital accompaniment is out now on Juno Download.
