Daphni arises on Amazing Sounds

Dan Snaith will continue his impressive new Daphni project with Ahora, a twelve inch release on Allez Allez’s Amazing Sounds imprint due out later this month.

As Daphni, Snaith has dropped several well received twelve inches across the fledgling Resista and Jiaolong imprints with the latest coming on the latter label and displaying a decidedly more electronic slant than the two releases on Resista.

“Ahora” sees Snaith continue to meld off kilter samples with his own inimitable grasp of organic sounding electronics, this time utilising a heavily psychedelic, Eastern tinged synth riff. The track is accompanied by a remix from Border Community duo Margot, who imbue their own tweaked out bubbling techno sensation on proceedings with style.

Amazing Sounds will release Ahora by Daphni on 12″ and digital formats on October 31 and you can check out both tracks below.
