Secretsundaze celebrates 10 years
Secretsundaze, one of London’s most admired clubbing institutions, will celebrate a decade in the business with a double CD compilation.
James Priestly and Giles Smith started their debauched end of weekend parties in 2001, gathering a following that saw them expand their empire into the realm of record label bosses, booking agents and globetrotting DJs, with appearances at some of the world’s most discerning nightspots.
10 Years Of Secretsundaze will be their third mix compilation, and as is customary both Smith and Priestly have taken a CD each to show their wares. Priestly’s selection takes on an eclectic hue with tracks from Space Dimension Controller, Maddslinky, Recloose and DJ Harvey’s Locussolus project, while Smith goes deep with a mix that includes the likes of Skudge, Tornado Wallace, Marshall Jefferson and Steven Tang.
With a number of celebratory parties already in the pipeline – plus the recently announced relaunch of their record label – it’s shaping up to be a memorable year.
