Alpha Recording System tease new Model 9100 rotary mixer
The cult favourite Japanese audiophile brand upgrade the Model 9000 with some new features.
In an Instagram post, Alpha Recording System have revealed plans for a new desktop rotary mixer. The Model 9100 is an evolution of the current Model 9000 with some nice new upgrades: a pair of VU meters top right replacing the 9000’s simple LED meter, adjustable effects send levels via pots rather than the 9000’s all-or-nothing push buttons, plus LEDs next to the channel cue buttons to make it easier to see which channels you’re sending to the headphone cue mix.
No word on pricing or availability yet but expect somewhere around the Model 9000’s £3,350 price point. You can read our full review of the Alpha Recording System Model 4100 here.
