Win tickets to Borusiade in a Stoke Newington basement
The Cómeme selector returns to London alongside two NTS favourites.
Linear Space was a night overseen by the NTS pairing of Alien Jams host Chloe Frieda and DEBONAIR’s Debi Ghose which ran from late 2014 to late 2015 and hosted irregular events at lovably grimey Dalston basement venue The Alibi. Shelley Parker, Diagonal associate Xenoglossy, Karen Gwyer and fellow NTS regulars Cherrystones and Nitetrax were among the guest DJs to play. After a period away from the spotlight, Frieda and Ghose have revisited their clubbing format sans name, with their first joint event of 2016 set to take place further North in another basement venue, The Waiting Room, this upcoming weekend.
Headlining proceedings is Romanian DJ and producer Borusiade who should be eminently familiar to readers of Juno Plus for her excellent podcast back in January and equally memorable Cómeme debut Jeopardy. Miruna Boruzescu is no stranger to the English capital, having made her debut at Shoreditch’s cavernous East Village for a Hessle Audio & Cómeme last year, but the chance to see her go deep in a more intimate venue should not be passed up.
We’ve been granted the chance to offer readers a pair of free passes to Friday’s event with Borusiade – all you need to do is correctly answer the below question. The competition will run until 3pm on Friday afternoon with the winning entrant notified via email shortly afterwards.
