Mount Liberation Unlimited embark on search for T.J. Eerie
Johannes Palmroos adopts a faux-documentary tone for the new video from Beats In Space signees.
Stockholm natives Tom Lagerman and Niklas Janzon (pictured) form Mount Liberation Unlimited, a loose house music production unit whose hardware focused-music has resulted in a pair of well-recieved 12″s for Junkyard Connections and Superconscious Records. It is the live stage where MLU truly impress however and it is tempting to feel that Beats In Space impresario Tim Sweeney was seduced into signing up Lagerman and Janzon for his label after sharing billing at Corsica Studios last year. Mount Liberation Unlimited make their BIS debut later this month with the (Eerie) For Your Love 12″ and to herald its arrival a video for the title track has been newly unveiled.
It is fellow Stockholm creative Johannes Palmroos, a rather decorated film artist, that was handed the task of adding a sense of visual ingenuity to the track’s ten minutes of “eccentric, eclectic, and electric crescendos.” The resultant video plays out as a fake documentary themed around the search for the lost, legendary musician T.J. Eerie with Tom Lagerman and Niklas Janzon among those interviewed.
