Creta Kano gets a re-version from O$VMV$M

Watch a video for the Young Echo unit’s upcoming reinterpretation on Happy Skull. 

Having welcomed Creta Kano into the Happy Skull fold earlier this year with the Skyway Motel 12″, label bosses The Kelly Twins have elected to open material from that record to a selection of local Bristol talent. As Tape Echo point out, Happy Skull have called on Hessle Audio and Livity Sound affiliate Bruce, Hotline act Lurka, and the fledgling tape-mangling O$VMV$M project of Young Echo associates Neek and Amos Childs. Scope out the internet and you can hear Bruce’s ”Hi-Fi’ take on “False Water” ripped from the FM airwaves of the Hessle Audio Rinse show, but our focus is on O$VMV$M’s remix of “Skyway 81”. Given the grotty nature of O$VMV$M’s sound, it feels highly appropriate the accompanying video should come from Max Kelan Pearce whose visual work is based around disintegrated VHS imagery.
