Shackleton’s Deliverance continues

A third 12″ in the Deliverance Series turns up on the artist’s Woe To The Septic Heart!

As is the territory with Shackleton’s music, the artist’s third drop in the Deliverance Series has popped up again with no prior warning. As we reported back in July last year, the first 12″ of the series followed Freezing Opening Thawing, a record which broke an extended period of silence from the Woe To The Septic Heart! camp, a label set up in 2010 following the closure of his and Appleblim’s Skull Disco circa-2008. It follows the release of Shackleton’s remixes of Japanese trio Nisennenmondai that Shackelton self-released on Woe To The Septic Heart! earlier this year.

Unsound festival are currently counting down the days until they première a live collaboration between Shackleton and two members of Nisennenmondai, with news cropping up last week that Pedro Maia, an artist who’s worked with the likes of Svreca, Vessel, Tropic of Cancer and Holy Ghost in the past, will provide the performance’s visuals. To preview the spooky, tribal sounds of Shakelton’s latest release ahead of Krakow’s festival make your way over to Hard Wax to check out both tracks from Deliverance Series No. 3.

Deliverance Series No. 3 by Shackelton on Woe To The Septic Heart! is available now.
