Bookworms gets Touchless Automatic
Get a feel for Nik Dawson’s impending four-track return to L.I.E.S.
Last seen twisting out essential and magnificently grubby techno wares on Nord with the Compact Visual Nature 12”, Nik Dawson’s Bookworms venture has slowed in pace after a thoroughly prolific start to proceedings when he first emerged two years ago. Often found experimenting alongside Steve Summers on Confused House transmissions, it’s fair to say that Dawson represents an established part of the extended L.I.E.S. firmament. Two previous 12”s including his debut single Love Triangles have appeared on Ron Morelli’s label, and now the next turn from Dawson will appear there after a ten month hiatus.
Due out later this month, news of the four track Touchless Automatic EP has been heralded with a full stream of the title cut. Available to hear below, the track suggests that there’s plenty more rambunctious outboard mischief emanating out of Dawson’s studio, which should please his existing fans no end.
