Son.sine to resurface on Delsin with seconds:minutes:hours​

It’s taken 15 years but the enigmatic Son.sine will release some new music on Delsin in March.

In 2012 Delsin opened their X-DSR series to huge applause with a popular split 12″ featuring Marc Kinchen’s flute-happy “The MKappella”, originally released on Kinchen’s own Area 10 in 1991, and Luke Slater’s immense piano track as The 7th Pain, “Lost”, taken from his 1994 album The 4 Cornered Room. Since then other rare and influential records have found their way to that part of Delsin’s catalogue thanks to the music of Terrence Dixon’s Population One alias, Claro Intelecto’s debut Peace Of Mind EP (originally released on Ai Records) and the blissful Upekah 12″, a long lost record first released in 2000 by reclusive New Zealander Son.sine.

The Dutch label have now revealed after a 15 year absence from releasing music Son.sine will deliver three more dreamy productions of smooth and atmospheric techno described by Delsin as “a masterclass in tension and long form dub music.” Taking the title seconds:minutes:hours, this new Son.sine material will arrive as the second release on the recently established Cameron sublabel that was inaugurated by Gunnar Haslam. All three tracks are available to preview over at the Delsin website with the B2, “A Room”, proving Son.sine does in fact have techno muscle, while “A Candle” and “An Island” provide two different shades of minimal and downtempo techno.

Delsin will release seconds:minutes:hours​ by Son.sine on March 16.
