In discussing the revelation of a new Legowelt record due on Crème next month, we referenced the fact The Hague institution would be celebrating its 15th year in 2015. Little did we know the label would swiftly commence these celebrations proper with There Is No Authority But Yourself, the first in what is apparently a series of pay-what-you-like digital compilations featuring exclusives from label associates old and new. Available to preview below, the weighty 15-track collection can be gripped at Bandcamp and features contributions from those listed above as well the likes of Photonz, Scientific Dreamz Of U, BNJMN, DRVG CVLTVRE, Benedikt Frey and more.

As the year progresses, Crème also promises label showcases, further editions of its Valley Of The Shadows series and excitingly a book celebrating the artwork of the label’s visual genius Godspill aka Mehdi Rouchiche – the man responsible for the above superlative illustration.
