The music of LA Club Resource boss Delroy Edwards seems to have been getting progressively darker and more abstract since he made his debut on L.I.E.S. two years ago, with his recent release under his DJ Punisher alias veering into pure noise. If you’re hankering for a return to the kind of deep, woozy house of early tracks like “For Club Use Only”, then his new record – out today both digitally and on vinyl on his Gene’s Liquor label – is just the thing.
