Ekman added to The Trilogy Tapes juggernaut
Stream “Dissipation” from the Dutch producer’s upcoming Entropy EP for Will Bankhead’s label.
If you’ve been keeping a watchful eye on the Twitter feed of The Trilogy Tapes over the past few months you will probably be aware of all manner of intriguing projects forthcoming on the label, including mixtapes from Swiss DJ Sassy J and Japonica founder Howard Williams, and vinyl releases from Aaron Dilloway and mystery outfit Zennor. Dutch producer Ekman can now be added to this list, a producer whose output for Shipwrec, Berceuse Heroique and Panzerkreuz has proved to be some of the most scorched electro to surface from the Lowlands in some time. Regular listeners of the KNYX Radio series of mixes uploaded to The Trilogy Tapes’ SoundCloud profile will be glad to finally ID the nine minutes of dense, pressurised electronics that make up “Dissipation,” which can be streamed in full below ahead of the four track Entropy EP dropping sometime next month.
