Enter the House Of Doors with Mood Hut

The Aquarian Foundation member goes solo for the next release from the excellent Vancouver label.

The rotating cast of collaborations and aliases that form the Mood Hut collective have eased their way into the affections of labels, selectors and collectors alike over the course of the past 12 months or so, thanks to a charmingly unique take on house music. The Black Opal series from Opal Tapes has become the latest label to scoop up some musical produce from the Canadian Riviera with the announcement of a forthcoming release from Cloud Face, joining the likes of Peoples Potential Unlimited, Going Good and Future Times in spreading the Mood Hut love.

After the excellent Bubble World 12″ from Pender Street Steppers belatedly arrived last month, Mood Hut are ready to unleash a fifth release in the shape of The Dolphin Hotel Affair Vol. 1 from House Of Doors. Revealed as one of the trio that make up Aquarian Foundation, House Of Doors’ full solo turn comes after Future Times issued a Max D remix of his track “Bicameral Mind” earlier this year, and features three humid house productions perfect for the summer months.

Mood Hut will release The Dolphin Hotel Affair Vol. 1 by House Of Doors later this month.
