If, like us, you have been hankering after some fresh Huerco S. material following his excellent debut album Colonial Patterns then you can rest easy, as it seems there is plenty on the horizon. Chatting with Little White Earbuds recently, the New York-based producer revealed he is set to feature on Anthony Naples’ Proibito label in one capacity or another over the coming months, and he’s also been tapped by RVNG Intl to remix a track from the last Blondes LP Swisher. Forming part of the newly released Rewired EP, Huerco S. features alongside Dave ‘Function’ Sumner and UK techno types Simian Mobile Disco and Claro Intelecto, lending his Midas touch to “Wire”. Available to melt your mind in full below, Huerco S. has transformed the Blondes production into a ten minute trip through murky, underwater techno that has a tangible mechanical feel to it.
