Preview some Northern Electronics from Korridor

Abdullah Rashim’s label introduces a new mysterious artist in the shape of Korridor.

Abdulla Rashim’s Northern Electronics has been one of the strongest new techno labels to appear on the scene in the last 12 months, making a formidable name for itself with its deeply brooding and atmospheric take on the genre. Opened by Varg’s ambient acid techno album Misantropen and Acronym’s Red River Gum EP, the label prides itself on promoting local Swedish talent, and Korridor is the latest to join the Nordic outpost alongside Rashim and Varg’s impressive Ulwhednar collaboration, and obscure deep techno collective Råd Kjetil Senza Testa.

Prior to this debut 12″, Korridor has only one listed release, 2012’s Hypnos EP for the digital label Noctambular. For Northern Electronics however, the so far faceless artist delivers three tracks of deeply cut rhythms that offer all the hallmarks of Italy’s famous darker techno sound, namely Donato Dozzy, Giorgio Gigli, and Voices From The Lake’s Neel. Like the Northern Electronics releases before it, Korridor’s Path 0102.591 was mastered by Neel at his EnissLab studio in Rome. Preview the release below.
