Preview some new sounding Edward on Die Orakel

German house producer Edward provides Die Orakel with its second intriguing release inspired by ‘unborn futures and fates’.

Oliver Hafenbauer’s Die Orakel label launched last Autumn with a record from Live At Robert Johnson regular Christian Beißwenger under his The Citizen Band project. While that Monogamie 12″ came replete with a remix from Leipzig pair Kassem Mosse and Mix Mup as MM/KM, the next Die Orakel release takes the form of entirely original material with regular White, and sometimes Giegling contributor, Edward at the helm.

Entitled Feuerhand, the 12″ is due in early March rocking some cover art that pays homage to a John Carpenter classic. All three tracks on the record can be previewed below, and those familiar with Edward’s previous work will recognise this record as something of a stylistic deviation, moving toward an organic, live sound similar in execution to his fledging Desert Sky project.
