Preview Young Male’s new EP for Work Them

White Material has been one of this year’s breakthrough labels, with the trio of Galcher Lustwerk, DJ Richard and Young Male who run the imprint all becoming some of the year’s most talked about artists off the back of their respective 12″s. In fact, Galcher Lustwerk is the sole White Material artist so far to release a record in 2013 (not counting the tracks on the anonymous “Various Artists” WM004) – both DJ Richard and Young Male’s efforts arrived in 2012 and continual calls for the label’s first three releases to get repressed have apparently been answered.

Whilst confirmed dates of this series of represses haven’t emerged yet, those looking for a taste of new Young Male material will not have long to wait, with an EP due next week on Work Them, the label of Rekids regular Spencer Parker. As you can tell from the previwew streaming below, the Lost My E EP contains four expectedly tough 909 workouts from the producer, whose stripped back nature nevertheless packs some serious dancefloor potential – check the pounding toms of “Finesse” for proof.
