White Visitation has Permanent Swing

Stream the lead track from the Mexican producer’s forthcoming EP for Styles Upon Styles.

First surfacing under the Visitation White banner with a contribution to last year’s Winter Compilation from Opal Tapes, the anonymous Mexico City-based producer went flip mode, returning as White Visitation with two highly limited (and highly prized) self-released tapes that surfaced on the RVNG Intl site and promptly sold out. Both these tapes saw White Visitation grounded in a meditative hinterland where vintage dub techno was caked in thick layers of slowly degrading magnetic hiss.

Finding a new home on the like minded Styles Upon Styles, White Visitation will anoint the general public with his debut vinyl release next month. A taste for the three track Ancestors 12” is afforded with lead track “Permanent Swing” – available to stream below – which deftly builds from silence to a crescendo of finely placed samples and careening percussive touches before falling once more into the ether.
