Regular DJ Spider collaborator Marshallito offers a glimpse into the new subBASS release.

In discussion with this site earlier this year, DJ Spider spoke of his involvement with New York house dancer Marshallito and his label subBASS Sound System. “It just so happens the first three releases (on subBASS Sound System) are records he did with me,” Spider said, further explaining that after three successive collaborations, the fourth subBASS Sound System title will be Marshallito’s debut proper. Whilst we await news of that release, the label have slipped out a rather wonderful solo downtempo piece from Marshalllito in the shape of “Prison Diaries” featuring plucked piano keys and stuttering East Coast beat down arrangements.
